This game shows that a fully healthy D would have beaten KC in last year's playoffs

KC was missing a lot of guys yesterday lol

As were we.  Who were they missing in the playoffs?  Right.

Kelce was better, he’s looking older now even one season removed.  KC also had Rashee Rice, Pacheco and MVS making plays.  Their offense is not as good right now as it was in that game.

Agree completely, Kelce has fallen off a cliff.  He looks old, chubby and slow out there.  Gray is the bigger threat.

So because we can beat them when they are also banged up is irrefutable evidence we can beat them when they are healthy?

Nothing is “irrefutable” in hindsight.  But yes, we would’ve won if we would’ve had some of our young studs out there.

I think we would’ve won too.

Just not sure yesterday was irrefutable proof.

Agreed.  I don’t think there is ever really irrefutable proof that something would’ve happened.

Because shoe horning the outcome yesterday as analysis that they would have won last year is an ridiculous.   Using injuries as an excuse is sad, teams have injuries all the time.   I am not disputing the Bills were at a large disadvantage at LB and CB, they were but they could have won that game and also, they could have lost yesterday.  When these teams play it is close.  You call winning a game against a team you lost to last year in a certain manner "irrefutable" evidence they would have won last year as some kind of analysis?   Some players are different, some coaches are different, the injury situations are different.  The premise of this thread is outrageous, nothing that happened yesterday shows what might have been different last year.  Every game in the NFL is a unique entity.

To the bolded, can you show where I said there was no irrefutable evidence we would not have won?  My point is it has no relevance.

I pointed out you dismissed a view or conclusion because it lacked irrefutable evidence.   I didn’t address any conclusion you made about outcomes.  I rejected your standard.

The Bills would have won last years playoff game if their Defense was at full health.

The defense didn't lose the game last year, the offense did.  They scored 7 points in the entire 2nd half. They won the time of possession battle 37 minutes to 23 minutes and they won the turnover battle, and they still only scored 24 points.

You reject relevance in analysis as a standard, ok.

Irrefutable proof that.....

1) The Bills can beat anyone in the NFL at any time except Balitmore.

2) That Shakir and Bernard are the two best Bills players not named Josh Allen

3) Josh Allen is the most entertaining player in the NFL

4) This team is actually getting better week by week and just wait until they get healthy

5) Curtis Samuel lives.

6) The officiating remains terrible in the NFL.

Klein was an old style thumper. Good against the run and had some blitz capability, but we all saw that while he was here, covering anyone in the pass game was not in his wheel house.

Which is Bernard's strength

No, and again, I’m rejecting irrefutable proof as a standard for analysis.    I’m a man of limited capacity and can’t be more clear.    Best wishes ….

Need to see their healthy O (Rice, Pacheco, etc) matched up against our healthy D (Milano, Bernard, ...) to make the call. Probably wont' ever happen.

But I did like hanging 30 on them even without Kincaid, Keon and Brown.  Winning by two scores is a sign that we've potentially finally passed them.

While the line blocking for the running game, minus Allen, was nothing to get excited about the difference maker for me was how the Bills offensive line picked up and handled the Chiefs blitz package.

If you take out all of Allens wildcard rounds

He still has the same playoff numbers as burrow if I'm not mistaken

Similar passer rating

Passing touchdowns

Passing touchdown %

EPA

Qbr

Int%

Y/a

Yeah I just looked it up

Both burrow and Allen have played in 5 div rd or further playoff games

Allen has 8 passing touchdowns and 2 int

Burrow has 6 passing touchdowns and 4 int

Allen has 11 total tds and 2 total turnovers

Burrow is the same 6 to 4
