He is proof of hard work and the Bills player development programme. It's really funny how much hate he got for the best WR in the game of football making an acrobatic, insane catch on him when he was in tight coverage. Fans can be fickle. 1 Quote
JerseyBills Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Shows how great our coaching is. They molded him into a starter onalot of teams. Hardtop keep him off the field Quote

JESSEFEFFER Posted November 21 Posted November 21 So many times a great player is capable of doing something that a defender can't anticipate. It was an overthrow for most all NFL WRs. A DB with eyes on the ball would not even read Jefferson getting a hand to it. It's like all those defenders taking bad angles on Josh and whiffing on the tackle. They misread the threat. Quote

If he's asked to drop (or even play laterally) and track a play at the same time is when he finds himself in trouble. There's a handful of teams where the issue seems to raise its head. This. I have hated him in coverage. But I will say he’s had a good two weeks. I am not willing to go all in on him yet. Quote

Lewis is behind him and as they come down he has hands on the ball trying to push down on it. This "he could have just batted it down" he couldn't. Jefferson got hands on the ball first. Yes, Cam was trying to catch it, that was a mistake. But it would have made no odds to the play. Not what I see at all. He took an angle to catch the ball instead of angling to knock down a ball with plenty of air under it. Where he ended up - as you state - WAS the mistake. 1 Quote
