And Cooper gets healthy. Especially if Samuel rounds into form.

With all the talk we had all offseason of being short-handed at the skill positions, all the sudden this offense is freaking loaded.

I'll go to my grave believing that Beane planned this knowing months ago he only needed one guy at the deadline to put everybody in the right positions.

Am I right that there were no pre-snap penalties called on either team? I don’t recall any.

Technically two delay of game penalties but both teams took those on purpose.

Interesting observation on Terrell Bernard today:

It seemed like he was getting frustrated with a lot of the coverage breakdowns at times, and was pretty animated after a few receptions talking to his guys about what appeared to be leverages or route combinations (specifically saw this with Williams, Rapp and Douglas).

I know he is always very vocal presnap but this is the most I’ve ever seen him interact post-play in a somewhat constructive manner.

Did anyone else pick up on this?

Well, I have learned the only reason the Bills won was because they held all day and KC commited no penalties.

The Refs and the entire NFL wanted the Bills to win and Hate the poor Chiefs.

As critical as I've been on Samuel whether that's been on him due to turf toe or whatever else or simply the way he was being used, he impressed me today.  If he can look even close to this with a healthy Cooper, Keon, Shakir, Hollins, Kincaid, and Knox...that's a pretty frightening group of pass catchers right there.

That's what Captains do.

I'm STILL pissed about that - and I my throat STILL hurts now from screaming at the TV like a psycho while they were lining up after the drop and multiple replays showing all the millions watching from their couch the obvious drop but the FRIGGIN NFL can't show competence and even review the obvious wrong call at a critical time during the biggest game of the year "REVIEW THE CALL!! WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR - REVIEW THE CALL! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! THEY DIDN'T REVIEW IT! WTF ARE THEY DOING! OH MY FREAKING GOD!  OH MY FREAKING GOD!"

Freaking a-holes

Its a good thing I don't have a dog or it would still be hiding

really?  I mean, it was the wrong call but we were up 9, not 6 😂

Plus, I was mentally prepared for us giving up the 4th and 13 anyways or whatever it would’ve been.

He gave (I think) Taron a real ass chewing one TD also.

I’m with you…these teams are giving 100% in these very important regular season games.  And likely if we weren’t stuck with AJ Klein in the playoffs the playoff game would’ve gone similar to today

Its pure crazy town to me this thing of trying to correlate a regular season win against KC to a playoff loss.  What did the regular season win in '21 have to do with 13 seconds, what did the win last year have to do with having no healthy LBers in the playoffs.  It's such a dumb narrative

The cooper move just made too much sense to not be that…asking price was probably higher in the offseason because the browns didn’t know they were gonna suck bad but beane probably did 😂

Good observation- you're right.

Bills almost had a delay of game but McDermott called a timeout

I agree every game is in its own bubble. There are different reasons why we have lost to them in the playoffs and there are reason why we have beat them in the regular season.

Who had 9-2 at this point when looking at that preseason schedule release.  Amazing.

The quick hitting Gray TD, yes. It looked like me he was indicating that he thought 7 should have been on him, or communicated that Gray was in-breaking.

The way it played out though I was sure they were gonna bait Josh into a rushing lane then slam the door on him

I thought he'd end up running facefirst into an End and two 'backers if he tried it.

Then he shot himself out of a cannon and made half the Chiefs secondary look like middle schoolers. :o
