I thought that was 100% on Knox for stopping his route instead of continuing across the safety's face. I think Allen had to adjust midthrow when Knox settled in the worst spot possible and ended up just having to unnaturally flick a jump ball because of it.

It's part of the reason I rarely ever want the Bills to use Knox as a target on downs that are going to decide possession; he's not as bad as Gabe Davis, but he's still just too unreliable.

For sure the interception was because Knox stopped.  I did notice during the replay that Knox was cut off and couldn't get around the defender.

It was just one of those things that happens in football.

At one point on the Kc side of the field,  Kelce came off threw his hands up and looked visibly frustrated to not be on. Reid had walked over and was side by side with him.

Noah Gray looked more like prime Kelce than Kelce and he didn’t look anything like prime Kelce 😂

So basically 3 out of Josh's 5 interceptions are on the receivers.  He's having a remarkable season.

Listening to serious NFL radio, this is the third time I've heard it from a journalist

Evidently the Chiefs players were quite chirpy walking up the tunnel beside the Bills players. Telling them so far as enjoy your regular season win, the bills won't win the playoffs. Evidently the cheese players were quite upset at the end.

Man I hope that's true. I hope they tell our players all about it. We need to beat them in the playoffs and lift that effing Lombardi.

I don't know where you are getting these but KC lost to Denver 24-9 last year (October 29, 2023).

Right here... the BBC:

https://www.bbc.com/sport/american-football/articles/crez1z8pxyzo#:~:text=It was also a rare, games without conceding that many.

I'm gonna blame @GunnerBill for this one!

He was told to stop - not because he was a former player diagnosing these plays and telling us what may come - but because he had inside knowledge based upon discussion with the team and watching practices that are closed to media - he was telling us what they actually gameplanned.

The teams were complaining to the NFL that he was talking about their “secrets” for specific looks and teams threatened to shut down any info for Him and Nance if it continued.

It is the same reason the Brady owning a part of LV and being a broadcaster took so long to happen - there was a ton of stipulations that had to be addressed to ensure information wasn’t passes to other teams.

Romo was so great early because he was breaking norms by sharing info on how teams installed a gameplan for that opponent, but that info is then available for other teams to exploit as they see concepts.  If he shared thoughts based upon just what he saw on the field it would be one thing, but when he would talk about what “triggered” a blitz based upon formation - that was info gleaned from the discussions with the team and watching specific practices where the gameplan is installed.

Thank you for this deeper dive.

If that's the case, then I'd rather the color analysts don't get any inside access to gameplans during the week. I still want to listen to an NFLer break down what they're seeing and anticipating to help me understand how we should all "see" the game from an Xs and Os standpoint.

The human interest narratives and talking points are completely irrelevant to the game on the field anyways. Does nothing for me, personally. Give me analysis instead. Just stick with the plays currently happening. Stop with the bigger picture commentary.

If anyone missed his little sarcastic clap.

This rivalry started heating up last playoffs. I know we’ve played a lot but until KC started coming to Buffalo I don’t think it felt like a real heated rivalry.

You know this made me think, technically McDermott just took the lead in his head to head against Andy Reid 5-4.

THIS is what everyone is getting worked up about?

They keep using the "this was your super bowl" line. Meanwhile, Josh and Shakir and McD all acted like we barely won a preseason game.

Chiefs fans were already saying this before the game even started, they could smell this L in the water, no one knows how little this has to do with the game in the Playoffs more than Bills fans. For Chiefs fans it's an afterthought for Bills fans we're ready for that game today this regular season ***** was nice lets ***** go....obviously we want to get our guys back healthy first but you get the idea.

I love this so much. Honestly talk about reversing your own motivation, this makes it seem like one team is hungry and one team is just used to being there.

I noticed during the game the Chiefs were chippy more so than usual and kinda of looked rattled more than I've ever seen besides when they play Maxx Crosby

Even tho the win was beautiful yesterday until we beat those bastards in playoffs it won’t really matter to anyone in the sports fan world cause they’ll just keep saying but you can’t beat them in the playoffs blah blah blah

It reminded me of Josh Allen's first down vs Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

That's my avatar.  That play sealed it for me - I fell in love with Josh Allen as our QB because of the heart and grit he showed on that play!

Red Roof Inns in general have fallen off a cliff in the last 5-10 years. Even Motel 6 has leapfrogged them.

Agreed but if you have a 75+ lb dog (or  you’re a biker cokehead looking for a room) it’s a sure thing

How much did this #Bills win mean to Amari Cooper?

"First time in a long time I've felt joy from winning a game"

I’ve watched his postgame interview clip a few times and from prior interviews as well, seems  introspective & understated, so not stereotypical NFL WR personality, but hope he finds a niche here he hasn’t previously in his NFL career.  Seems like perhaps has started to already.

Sky Sports got it wrong first. Think the Beeb just copied. I hate the BBC's NFL articles though. They are written like a BBC soccer report and the language is just clunky from an NFL perspective.
