And some people will never acknowledge that. Everyone is jocking on McD for finally being aggressive but agressive ALL the time is just as predictable as being a wuss. In the first half, when McD faced a fourth-and-a-couple just a little over midfield he punted, pinning the Chiefs back to the 12. The point being, situationally, that was the right decision in a game where the Bills were clearly a cut above, not to give the Chiefs a cheapie to flip the momentum. TBH the game situation coaching from McDermott (sans the challenge on the DHop catch) was plus for NFL coaches. I haven't been able to say that a ton, but I generally agreed with all of his strategery today. Now Brady... I guess it worked out in the end, but the key play of the game to me was the TD to Samuel. I think it was a 3rd down Spags sent the whole student body to blitz there because that's what he does and it almost always works. However the Bills line held JUST long enough for Allen to locate and deliver JUST into Samuels radius and of course he was wide wide open thanks to the blitz and scored. That just castrated Spagnuolo, it took the biggest arrow out of his quiver... and that paid off later on 4th and 2 where he DIDN'T try to bring the pressure. In fact it was a terrific defensive call against the Brady swing pass that was called for the 40th time in the game to beat that predictable Spags jailbreak blitz - he zoned it off and it was a dead play on the snap. Allen just made another TFG play where the D makes the perfect call, and plays it perfectly, and Allen just beats it because he's Allen and the DC can only stand there and mutter "This *****in Guy!" 9 4 Quote

RunTheBall Posted Monday at 03:42 AM Posted Monday at 03:42 AM I’m one of those guys who just wants the W. I don’t care how it looks, I don’t care about stats, just win baby. That being said - to win this game with Joshua F’n Allen running roughshod through Spags D and lowering the shoulder to get in the EZ is pure poetry. I couldn’t care less about the MVP talk and it annoys me to no end how much that gets brought up here, but thats an MVP level performance by Josh. I was 100% sure that McD was a an idiot for going for it on 4th and 2 instead of kicking. That’s why I’m on the couch instead of coaching. Balls of STEEL! I’ve been tough on MIA Oliver - he showed up. D played well enough to win but needed complimentary O to seal the deal. Total team win. I wasn’t thrilled with Brady, I thought too many first down runs and too many 3rd and longs were the result of his play calling. But, a W is a W so it worked. Amari Cooper is a gem. Listen to his post game. He’s the anti-Diggs. I hope we can re sign him. Great Win. Awesome to have 2 weeks to savor it. F Taylor Swift and I’m glad she didn’t show her ugly mug. Let’s do it in January. Go Bills! 8 1 Quote
Since1981 Posted Monday at 03:46 AM Posted Monday at 03:46 AM Give Romo and McD credit at the end. Bills stayed aggressive and knew 5 pts is not enough vs KC 3 Quote

Not much to see here, sometimes it will be called and oftentimes it won’t. All teams run these and I’ve seen worse go uncalled. 1 Quote

davefan66 Posted Monday at 04:01 AM Posted Monday at 04:01 AM Atmosphere in the stadium was amazing! The Josh TD run is one for the ages; I thought the upper deck was going to come down! One of the greatest moments and incredible fan reaction that I've witnessed at a game! Josh had a great game. Got first downs passing at important times. Ran for the TD at the most important time! Defensive line played fantastic pressuring mahomes and keeping him from getting far outside the pocket. Corralled him most of the game. I wasn’t concerned he was going to pull it off today, Bills defense was just too good. One of the best games I’ve ever been at, so much fun! 7 1 5 2 Quote

It just as easily could have been roughing the passer in my opinion. Quote

Still a lot of time but the chiefs are trending downwards at an inopportune time. If Cam Lewis can shut down Kelce without much help alarm bells should definitely be going off in kc. if we slip to the 3 seed then there’s a very good chance we run into them though. The afc playoff picture is just about set this early and I think kc will have a lot of trouble with any of those teams Are they getting Rice back this year? If so that changes their offense dramatically IMO. I'm guessing not but I honestly dont know. Edited Monday at 04:14 AM by Scott7975 Quote
