Anyone else feel like Romo was really going for KC today?

He is usually pretty neutral with bills vs chiefs/josh vs Mahomes, but today it's like he was really trying to prove: "Josh is really good but he's not Mahomes"

If he talked about their "Championship DNA" one more time I was going to vomit. And yes, he sounded more slanted than usual today.

Was thrilled with the victory but we can't treat this like our Superbowl. We need to add some tricks to our repertoire when we see them again in the playoffs

Now let’s see them do it in the playoffs. Until then it’s just another win.

You're correct and we've beaten them in the regular season several times now.  Need to take the next step.

Not OPI.  Receiver never left his route, but for anyone to try and use that play as an excuse for the endless times the Chiefs get love from the zebras is quite the stretch.😂

I will admit that I have seen less called OPI but that play is not in the "definite" should be called category. The problem is the standard from the officials is non existent.

They made  an ambiguous call on the missed extra point

They did not review the catch in their last TD drive...when it was obvious that ball had hit the ground and receiver was never in control.

They did not call Face Mask penalty on Jones when he tugged. hard Johnson's helmet

He’s usually complimentary of Allen and the Bills. He seemed grouchy and negative tonight.

I didn't think so. He was kind of right...the chiefs do have that championship knack. It stops sounding imbalanced to us when he hoist a trophy.

Does anyone have a bottom up view of the missed PAT?

Yeah…but it still kind of obliterates every single off season narrative.

I really don’t think we’re seeing them in the playoffs if we’re the 1 or 2 seed honestly.  Still a lot of time but the chiefs are trending downwards at an inopportune time.  If Cam Lewis can shut down Kelce without much help alarm bells should definitely be going off in kc.

if we slip to the 3 seed then there’s a very good chance we run into them though.  The afc playoff picture is just about set this early and I think kc will have a lot of trouble with any of those teams

Kincaid and Coleman should offer some alternative weapons for us.  Plus Milano, Carter and Smoot should be back to help shore up the defense more.

Tipping the plays.

It’s a shame they told him to stop it. Made it super interesting. Not sure if you caught it, but he actually tipped a dropping safety like clockwork on one of the plays today. Nantz even said something about it. Personally, I like when he does it. Network is making a mistake to take away his fastball.

Is it OPI when the defender throws himself into another WR running a route? It don't really see how he went out of his way to block him.

i guess it depends on how technical u want to get....i dont think the offensive player has any leeway when it comes to making contact with a defender.

but...there could be leeway depending on its impact on the play.....

either way i assume they (chiefs) had it coming.

Interesting observation on Terrell Bernard today:

It seemed like he was getting frustrated with a lot of the coverage breakdowns at times, and was pretty animated after a few receptions talking to his guys about what appeared to be leverages or route combinations (specifically saw this with Williams, Rapp and Douglas).

I know he is always very vocal presnap but this is the most I’ve ever seen him interact post-play in a somewhat constructive manner.

Did anyone else pick up on this?

I mentioned it in the GDT - he appeared genuinely pissed multiple times
