You either go for it or try the FG. You don't beat 9-0 teams by punting at their 42 for 30 net yards of field position.

This is the mentally of why we lose to KC in the playoffs. I’m convinced it’s mostly a mental roadblock.

So little innovation in the NFL, apart from Detroit. Why not try a hard count on the punt instead of the obvious fourth down and long? Why not do a hard count on fourth and long, act like it's all over, then snap it at the last second, when the defense has lost concentration?

I knew McDermott wouldn't have the sack to go for it there.

5 or less from that spot- absolutely.

8 yards makes it a must throw.

I’m very tough on McDs in game decisions, especially at the Half/ End game, but this was correct.

I miss having a punter that could put those out of bounds inside the 5.

Oh the days when we had the best punting game in the league.  Can we bring those days back for sven please?

That missed extra point was on Martin.  His hand is on the ground at a spot he's supposed to place the ball.  After catching the ball, he misses the spot away from himself making the ball is near Bass' heel, not mid foot where he wants to kick it.  Since Bass is not sweeping his leg, that will push the ball right.

It's the little things that matter.
