I'm guessing it's more a case that most injuries are on offense so need extra bodies there and Elam is sitting due to numbers.  Haven't seen the active roster link yet, but could be they are dressing an extra WR more than normal?

Even if he's just used as a decoy for the most part it will be useful to see how they plan on defending him so they can have a better idea of how to use him in the playoffs

Yea gotta be a numbers game, right? And Elam does one thing - backup boundary corner  - he can't play inside, he doesn't play teams and so he is vulnerable when numbers are tight.

I sure hope that isn't his role. 

 

If he is that is  major misuse of resources.  He needs to go make plays on third down.  Allen is going to be under a ton of pressure especially if Buffalo falls behind early so they need cooper to be a third down machine today.  someone has to beat man coverage and they traded for him to do exactly that.

Martin from his six across the field for he 23. This prompted an official to throw a flag. The chiefs got a first down.

 

Vigil was last non special teams player to leave the field. This also resulted in a chiefs first down, and fifteen yards. 

 

Martin looks solid. No sight of bass. 

 

Martin now from 40 dropping them right to the goal line. So far they could/would have bounced in end zone

No chiefs on the field warming up. 

They just took the field. They look silly and they definitely wear pants to bed.
