Thornton has free will and can sign to whichever Practice Squad he wants. Just him making the call doesn't guarantee we get him. And I can EASILY see a WR preferring to go to the 2 Time Super Bowl Defending Kansas City Chiefs, who have a pretty underwhelming WR core and as such has more of a chance to get playing time than he would than with our core. As a competitor, had I had a choice to play for a team that my former team played twice a year and was in the same division, I would've chosen said team. I would've wanted to show them the mistake they made of letting me go. I don't know the exact reason why the Patriots waived him. Was it his work ethic? I would've wanted to show them it wasn't because of my talents On 11/17/2024 at 10:47 AM, Brianmoorman4jesus said: This kid has all this speed. Bring him in. If you get him to become a complete WR, he has a chance to be something. You're giving Hamler, Virgil, Shavers the same opportunity. Why not? Quote
