I think any Republican that doesn't go along with Trump's mandate needs to be voted out, plain and simple. Make a list

Pot calling the kettle black.  DEI appointments vs the loyalists appointments.  As long as they're not truly qualified, then that seems to work for both parties.  I'm just trying to figure out which is more dangerous.

Your silly comparison would make more sense if Mr. Hegseth wasn't qualified, but he is.

Adults don't automatically accept the "everyone does it" lie.

Try adulting this:

In a whistleblower report, former CVA employees said Pete Hegseth was frequently heavily intoxicated during official events to the point of having to be restrained, passing out, and shouting slogans calling for the death of all Muslims. The report also said that he sexually pursued female employees and under his leadership the organization ignored allegations of sexual impropriety, including allegations of sexual assault.[12] According to reporting by The New Yorker, mismanagement and alcoholism concerns led to Hegseth's forced resignation from CVA in January 2016.[12]

His job included responding to the Federal Election Commission as treasurer of the organization.[24][25] By 2008, VFF was unable to pay its creditors, who became concerned that money was being wasted on organization parties. A 2009 forensic accountant report by creditors led to Hegseth admitting that the organization was about half a million dollars in debt.

Since 2014, he has been a political commentator for Fox News and was a weekend co-host of Fox & Friends from 2017 to 2024.

But yeah, he's the guy to run the place that's failed 7 audits in a row, and can't account for $824 BILLION.  Get a grip B.

Voting taking place as we speak. It looks like he has the votes. May need JD Vance to break the tie. Senator broads from Alaska and Maine voted no and Mitch McConnell is likely a no. All should be voted out. Traitors to their party

Update: McConnell a no so JD Vance needed to break a tie. If 1 more votes no it fails

Moving towards the vote tonight.

3 republicans will vote against (Murkowski, Collins and McConnell)

VP Vance will break the tie..

Democrats blocking qualified nominations by slander MUST not prevail.

Looks like I had it right.

(other than the 24 hour democrat delay)

Congratulations Secretary Hegseth.

Time to primary McConnell. He's not fit to be in office anyhow. The dude has mini strokes at the podium. Time to retire old man

Wonderful. Trump picks only the best alcoholic to a nice low stress position as being in charge of our military and nuclear arms. I’m sure there is no one more qualified to lead the largest agency in the world deciding how to respond to the daily threats US interests face. Now we all have to hope that the pressure and stress of life or death consequences from his decisions don’t make him return to the bottle. On the bright side, his manly features look like he came out of central casting for the position. I guess this is what winning looks like. Let’s hope this ends well.

I'll give it a year until he's replaced in some fashion.

In the first week, the Trump administration has already accomplished more than Biden in 4 years…🤣🤣🤣

And it was so easy, because all he had to do was use a little common sense…😎

Like the pick, don’t like the pick…choose a party and you’ll get some feedback one way or the other.  In fact, the same goes for ”whistleblowers” and their credibility.

Bottom line for me—he’s the pick, confirmed by those elected to confirm, and time to move forward.
