Einstein Posted November 16 Posted November 16 Never seen this before. Not even a map - just “nationally televised” lol. Everyone wants to see Allen vs Mahomes And here are the early games https://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2024&wk=11 2 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted November 16 Posted November 16 There are no other CBS games in the late window. There are only three late window games and the other two are all NFC (9ers - Hawks) and NFC at AFC (Falcons - Broncos) so are both Fox under the normal broadcast rules. I am sure anyone who isn't a fan of those other 4 teams will have CBS on and be watching Allen and Mahomes but the lack of a broadcast map is because CBS only has one game. 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted November 16 Posted November 16 I always love these maps. I try and guess the games based on the colors before I ever look at the list of teams down below. What amazed me this week is just how small the reach/interest for the Rams v Patriots. The Los Angeles market reach is literally limited to about three counties. Mind you, that’s MILLIONS of people, but incredibly limited geographically. And the once vaunted Patriots bandwagon appears to have lost all of its wheels. Quote

Thr only issue is if the other network games home market can black it out. week 7 it happened KC-SF next week there is PHL-BAL solo 425 edit…. Another one potentially….. in week 15 if they move games out of Sunday 425 to night games on sun/ mon in week 17 after they state the 3 NFL Saturday games , they could a have solo 525 game KC-BUF wasnt initially scheduled to go solo but they moved the cin-chargers game out of the slot Edited November 17 by djp14150 2 Quote

I live in Seattle and have had a ton of Seahawk fans tell me they’ll be watching and rooting for the Bills on Sunday, as opposed to watching their own team 😆. Kind of typical out here when the Seahawks stink. 1 Quote

Steptide Posted November 16 Posted November 16 Ravens/steelers is about the best game tomorrow outside of bills/chiefs. I feel like the match ups this season have been bad 2 Quote

No I got the point. But as you say it is designed this way from months out. We know the two networks get to protect one game a year from prime time and we know for a second year running CBS chose Bill - Chiefs. So I don't think it is startling or susprising. It is just the way the broadcast contracts work. Quote
