Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted November 16 Posted November 16 Chrysler only made them from 1988-93, under mostly the Dodge nameplate. Ray and Tom Magliozzi were correct: One chassis, seventeen different (crappy) cars. 🤨 1 Quote

Allen is the best QB since Brady, he has outplayed Kermit in damn near every head to head matchup, Babich is perfect play caller for the D, 2024 will start 3+ SBs for the Bills My Gawd you are blind homer. Kermit has won every meaningful game and has SB rings on top of it. Mahomes is THE best QB in the league, it’s not close and there are lots who will debate you on Allen even being the second best to him (I think he is). Babich is unproven at best and the Bills still have to beat KC before there’s ever even a chance to play the SB, much less win one. 1 Quote

Don’t forget the secret weapon. Matt, the MISSILE Milano coming at Purdue with a vengeance. Guys, I know some try and state injury prone, but a healthy Milano is a game changer on defense. BullBuchanan Posted November 16 Posted November 16 It's pretty simple. You have the best two football coaches of all time with the best two quarterbacks of all-time. That will create dynasties. People slept on Andy Reid not being an all-time elite coach despite 4 straight conference championship appearances and a SB appearance just because he didn't win the big one, and he did it all with Donovan McNabb who drew serious questions about how good he actually was, by being straight awful as soon as he left Philly. 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted November 16 Posted November 16 You'd think they'd be harder given how the NFL has evolved to try and accomplish parity with the hard salary cap, three games each year where you have to play the top teams in three divisions if you finish in first place in your division, having only one playoff team have a bye now, and going from 28 teams in the mid 70's to 32 teams by 2002. What the Chiefs have going for them is having one of the best offensive minds of all time as their head coach and a top 5 NFL QB and maybe the best defensive coordinator in the league that has stayed there the whole time. The trend of preferring offensive coordinators as new head coaches and not hiring failed previous head coaches allows them to retain Spags. A front office that knows what it's doing helps too. It's frustrating. 1 Quote

I really don’t get how some fans can make comments like that and actually believe it. I think the Bills will get one with Allen. Just like how Indy and Pittsburgh did during NE’s reign. But to say that the Bills will rattle off multiple SB wins to start their own dynasty at this point in Allen’s 7th season? That’s a stretch. 1 Quote

That will always put him behind Mahomes. He does have the super power of size and speed, though. Quote

I'd rather have Allen if we're outmatched personnel wise. Allen's ceiling when he's on makes him a much more dangerous weapon than Mahomes. The problem is like you said he's not consistently accurate. Quote

I expect the Bills to win it, because A) KC has been living dangerously and they're due to lose B) its a regular season game, the Bills will have more motivation, trying for home field & the #1 seed I don't want to see 'em in the playoffs again. Really not trying to knock Josh here but just being honest. The first one that comes to mind is the Vikings when we were 17 point dogs. Cowboys Thanksgiving game. The 49ers and Seattle in the Covid year. Chiefs on SNF in 2021. Baltimore in 2022. Not a lot of games we weren't favored in because of good roster construction including a top 5 QB. Quote
