Kelly to Allen Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I think they both have great respect for each other and are friends similar to Magic Johnson and Isaiah Thomas in the 80s. But Isaiah knew he had to eventually break through. It's nerve racking but it's great as a Bills fan watching and praying Allen and this era of the bills can possibly break through and be world champions. Quote

Way less hugs and pictures between opposing players after games? Remember that Dolphins player flipping off our crowd when he came out of the tunnel? Dawkins and the Jets is all we have left off that. You must love the jersey exchanges! 1 3 Quote
T.E. Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 2 hours ago, appoo said: Why? I don't need dudes hating each other to enjoy a rivalry. I actually love how much respect these guys have for each other. As an athlete I talked my sh!t, but I only did it to guys who I loved competing with. And at the end of the day you dap up or hug that guy because you brought out the best in each other and you appreciate a competitor It's way more fun when they hate each other, let's be honest. 1 hour ago, Breakout Squad said: Cox. And then fans responded by hurling racial slurs and batteries at his neck rolled a**. I loved the rivalry but the racist crap was ridiculous. That's what Bryan Cox said happened. Not exactly a guy I would take at face value. Quote
Goin Breakdown Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I think stuff like this is more how WE feel than how the players feel and I still understand why you'd think that way. Quote

78thealltimegreat Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Josh is human he’s probably tired of hearing about Patrick in the playoffs when a solid case can be made in 2 of the 3 meetings he’s been the better QB. Josh knows regardless what happens on Sunday all that matters is what happens if they do part 4 in late January. 1 Quote
PoundingDog Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Here is what Mahomes said about Josh in the preser video. Very bland as well. Generally speaking, I think Mahomes has Tom Brady that kind of ultra competitive fire inside him - Tom did not show much outside where Mahomes can boil over more easily. Everyone knew Allen pretty much said he's like a big kid who likes to joke around, being one of the guys etc. This year he's taking a big step towards being THE unquestioned leader. Before you guys kill me, let me just say Josh has competitive fire. He's smart enough to know he has to overcome Mahomes in the playoff at some point and is taking the steps. But Mahomes is the kind of guy that ... in the example of last year's regular season Bills game, probably ate him for a week. Quote

Remember when Allen in the 13 seconds game was screaming getting his defense fired up after scoring the TD. It was like frickin Brady firing everyone up. I get goosebumps thinking about it 😂 1 Quote

What is this investigation at Mahomes’ house he talks about? Sounds like there was some kind of plan to rob him or commit a crime? Quote

Way less hugs and pictures between opposing players after games? Free agency changed all that. Before FA players were tethered to teams for their playing life (unless traded) so year after year animosities could develop / deepen. Now the guy opposite you may change from year to year plus it doesn't to piss off people you might be playing with in the future. Quote
zow2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I’ve seen video of Josh praising Pat this week and vice versa. These guys still like each other off the field. I always find it ironic that they are never on the field at the same time. It’s such a rivalry, But Josh plays against the KC defense, not Mahomes. Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago My hope and prayer is that Mahomes suffers the most absolute Billsy heart crushing loss at some point in his career. Like a music city miracle style one. Quote
