Sans Allen, who are the untouchable players moving forward?

If  Cook played in the 90s, he would be untouchable.  What a player.  Unfortunately, the NFL doesn't value RBs in the 2020s.  Bad for Cook.  Hope he has a great game today.  Go Bills !!!

We've got people mentioning zone CB's and interior OL.    I mean, gtfoh. 

 

Josh Allen and Rousseau are their least dispensable players.........but Allen is the only one who they can't afford to trade for any realistic price.

 

I believe you can only trade picks from the next 3 drafts and Allen is worth more than anyone's as-yet-determined next 3 drafts.  And they aren't going to trade you all their picks AND also good players.   We've discussed a potential day when Allen wants to move back home to CA but on the surface the Bills would have to agree to trade him for less than his worth to them.

In a salary cap league, it all amounts to expected value for the price. Even with these $40 million contracts, top QBs clearly exceed that in the value they provide. Yes, a true elite tier QB like an Allen or a Mahomes is actually underpaid. (That doesn't mean a next tier QB like Prescott is underpaid. There's a big difference.)

Will free agent market price Greg Rousseau provide excess value? I doubt it.

The kicker needs to be on this list. Lemme splain We’ll be in an awful lot of close games for as long as an excellent kicker can max out his career in Buffalo (because Allen) and with the weather.. be a great idea to get a great one now, I think.

Mahomes has been a such a better situation that is comical. Is Mahomes more accomplished than Allen? Sure. Is he legitimate better? I'm not convinced that's the case.
