Disagree. He's good but not elite

Off the top of my head my list would be:

1) Josh Allen

2) Taron Johnson (he's not worth a 2nd rounder perhaps in an open market, but he's worth so much more to the Bills speficially because of scheme fit and how the roster has been built)

3) Keon Coleman

4) Dion Dawkins

5) Terel Bernard

And that's about it

EDIT

Let me add some explanation.

Allen is obvious. With Keon, I think it's pretty clear we got a steal and he should have been drafted in the top 15. This kid is super young, and has already progressed to the point where he;s getting the best of legit all-pro type corners (Riq Woolen in Seattle). To move from him you'd have to offer me something along the lines of a Marvin Harrison Jr or Malik Nabers type of talent or multiple first rounders

Dion Dawkins. He's not elite but his positional value is super high and I think the Bills would struggle replacing that.

Bernard is similar to Taron Johnson, but more replacable. However, colleges aren't really producing much LBs with his kind of skillset where he's very comfortable dropping into coverage, playing man, blitzing and still has read and react run instincts

Untouchable (wont take calls on these guys)

Allen

Brown

Bernard

Benford

Dawkins

Taron Johnson

Overpay Required

Rousseau

Oliver

Shakir

I think everyone else I'd listen for the right price

Agree with this list, probably add Torrence.  While it's been a very limited window, I think the team would regret ever giving up Carter and Solomon.

Good call on Carter. I really like what he has shown so far.

While I do believe Benford was a hell of a find, I don't know if I would go as far to say untouchable. This team just has a way of finding guys at the cb position. They have a blueprint, long physical smart corners who have their athletic limitations.

Yup, unless Groot starts rattling off some substantial sacks (not pressures or hits), I'm looking at him in a very similar light to Tremaine & Gabe.

I think he’s definitely a tier or two above those guys, but I don’t like the $25M/yr AAV I’m hearing. Like you said, unless he starts getting good QBs on the ground, he’s a trade-able asset.

That’s a great point.  Mcd and Beane know how to run the secondary.

Shakir. I want him to stay a Bill for life assuming he remains consistent. I love his fire and the way he plays.

He reminds me of Don Beebe and Hines Ward

He can start making that statement on Sunday when the 3-time Super Bowl champion comes to town

There isn't a single player outside of Josh you couldn't trade Two first round picks and a second and acquire them. I think the following players hold the highest trade value.

Posted

Johnson

Benford

Quality corners are hard to find and worth paying.

Everyone else is replaceable.  Dawkins is an above average LT and Rousseau is not a dominant DE.  Bernard and Cook are very very good to great players but are the easiest positions to replace.  If someone had Bernard on their list of untouchable's I wouldn't argue against it. I just don't value MLB as much as CB, DE, or DT.

Before the season started I would have added Torrence but he is having a sophomore slump and it the worst starting OL on the team right now.

Christian Benford

Taron Johnson

Khalil Shakir

Greg Rousseau

Keon Coleman

Terrel Bernard

Dion Dawkins

There's others like Cole Bishop, Dewayne Carter, and Ray Davis that they envision grooming into Starting Roles that I can't imagine they'd move. Connor McGovern who has proven to be both a solid Center and a solid Guard. Don't see them moving him either.

Spencer Brown is having an outstanding year at RT and it is going unnoticed.  I am simply amazed at how this player has turned out for the Bills.  Glad Beane re-signed him to protect Josh Allen.

After Josh, I think Spencer on offense has been the most dominant player besides James Cook.   I wish Kincaid could have been discussed in the same breath.

To me other than Josh everyone is available for the right price. That being said I doubt Shakir or Rousseau sign else where.

Why wouldn’t they 🤔

Going strictly by production, and ignoring all other considerations (chemistry etc.) josh is the only player that isn’t replaceable.  There are some nice players on the team but zero other hall of famers

I don't agree with this

In 1988 when Kelly was 28, their was numerous young ascending talented football players that hadn't fully blossomed like this team. The past 3 drafts have been excellent. Rousseau may not be Bruce but could be a Charles Mann or Sean Jones Charles Haley level player. He's dominating ppl on the regular

It really depends on how crazy a GM for a team would be to get a player - Mike Ditka once traded his entire draft + future 1st & 3rd to move up 7 spots to take Ricky Williams.  If a team was going to trade many picks for a player they wanted and a player the Bills had large contract on saving them cap money almost any player would be available.   Some GMs are crazy stupid.

I do not know if anyone asked Ricky Williams if he was entitled to wear white.
