That is probably the first time ever that somebody described Roy Jones as just a "solid boxer"

Roy Jones Jr is a goat.

My personal favorite of all time

2010 was when it really died though Tyson Fury & the Klitschko’s were always a decent watch over the last 15 years.Β
Β

Joe Calzaghe, Roy Jones Jr. we’re solid boxers too. That Filipino kid as well, not Manny Pacquio.Β

Roy Jones jr was robbed in the Olympics big time

Loser goes away forever.

I'd throw some bucks in a hat.

lol solid is a high compliment. The tail end of his career after Tarver was meh.Β

I have to say, for everyone saying they had problems with the Netflix streaming, mine worked great. No buffering, no pixelation, no delays. It actually looked really clear for me the whole time, and my house does have some issues with internet lagging and dropping sometimes.

Yeah, he was meh at 35 yrs old.

At 25 yrs old he was arguably the most complete boxer in the history of the sport.

Buffered for a bit at 25 percent during the ladies fight and from that point it was fine. I was at least 3 minutes behind though.

For full disclosure, I did doze off for about 20 minutes waiting for the ladies fight to start and missed the start of it so it may have had issues I didn’t see. I streamed through Apple TV that’s hardwired Ethernet to a network switch, spectrum internet.

The tail end of Ali's career was meh. Does it make him less great?Β

It actually kicked me out with an error during Paul’s entrance, but was solid and clear after that.

That was a sparring session.Β  It seems like neither was serious about doing any sort of damage

My thoughts exactly. I'll take it a bit further....it was a complete sham. Tyson wasn't throwing punches in the last 2 rounds, Tyson got a payday, and the promoters got rich!! To me it's black eye in the world of boxing. The best fight was the Welterweight fight earlier. That was real.Β

Fight played out just as I suspected. Β Congrats to Iron Mike for earning one final big paycheck. Β That was, however, an ugly beat down by Jake Paul. Β Who does Jake fight next?

I’d like to see him fight an established fighter closer to his own age.
