Also, my fundamental problem with watching a lot of womens boxing is that they have no power. A lot of the tension of boxing is knowing that the whole fight can turn on one punch, just like the men's fight before it did. Taylor couldn't hurt Serrano at all apart from repeatedly headbutting and Serrano is the smaller fighter who came up in weight class. Taylor's only got 6KOs in her whole career. Technique and hand speed is nice and everything, but that's Olympic boxing. Professional boxing (IMO) isn't about the points. It's about doing damage. You earn the points via the damage, not just successfully touching the other person a bunch of times. I'd watch Serrano fight again. I wouldn't watch Taylor. To each their own though. He should fight Jack Massey or Joe Smith Jr. to see if he can stay upright against a real ranked Cruiserweight. That said, it wouldnt surprise me to see him fight McGregor at some point. 2 Quote
Saxum Posted Wednesday at 04:16 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:16 AM Netflix subscribers sue company for ‘breach of contract’ over poor quality of Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight https://dnyuz.com/2024/11/19/netflix-subscribers-sue-company-for-breach-of-contract-over-poor-quality-of-mike-tyson-jake-paul-fight/ Quote Netflix is facing a class-action lawsuit after widespread complaints about buffering and glitches during the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight Friday night. The lawsuit was filed in Florida by Ronald “Blue” Denton and accuses Netflix of “breach of contract” for constant glitches during the event. Netflix acknowledged the poor streaming quality of the highly anticipated event in a statement released Monday. Quote Netflix’s live broadcast from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, peaked at 65 million concurrent households in the U.S. An estimated 56% of all TV viewership in the country was tuned into the Tyson-Paul fight between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. ET, the streaming service added. 56%? I did not even know that 56% of the country knew of the fight and 56% of the country has netflix. Quote

McGregor has experience in sham fights and is basically a washed up former fighter turned social media personality at this point. He checks all the boxes. 1 Quote

McGregor is much smaller than Paul, but it’s reached WWE level matchups. Butterbean says he’d fight Paul. Personally, I’m thinking two midgets at once. 1 Quote
Irv Posted Wednesday at 07:25 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:25 PM Paul and Tyson should be incarcerated for that mess. Awful. Quote
