I wonder about this sometimes..

A player like Butker who often praises a higher being when successful..

which seems to imply that somehow that higher being chose him, and his team, for success on that day, rather than the others.

What is their theory when bad things happen to them, like this, or losses? Do they blame, maybe even privately curse out, that higher being for doing this to them?

Biggest advantage I see is if the Chiefs are in the 50-60 yard FG range and it’s 3rd and medium they will probably punt now. Where before it was likely they would get 3 points.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. If he never played again, that would be just fine.

Yep a player who thinks women belong in the kitchen, and their only path to happiness is birthing kids

This sounds like author could be subject to libel suit since it was stated as report rather than an opinion.

Libel suit, not a chance in hell, Joe Douglas and Woody Johnson are both public figures

If every time a journalist criticized someone running or playing for a team and got sued, the courts would be jammed up with frivolous lawsuits.

It was the writer's poetic license and hardly libelous.  Obviously, Joe Douglas has worked in weeks since he made a trade at the trade deadline.   It might actually be true Johnson is looking forward to a future role in the administration without quitting on the team at the same time.  How many people plan things in the future & still go to work in the present? Just about everyone with a job.

This is actually really good news for the Bills. He is a great kicker.

Re great kicker - Agreed

Re good news for the Bills - Not really. Look at it this way. With Butker in there, the Chiefs are very likely to try a long field goal instead of go for it on fourth down. Don't like giving them an extra down. I consider holding the Chiefs to 3 points on a possession a win.

Great, more 4th down attempts for the Chiefs offense...just what I was hoping for.

And to think,McDermott will only have 6 time outs to needlessly burn on those
