Joe Ferguson Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Billsy thing to happen is their new kicker makes a 68 yard field goal to win in overtime. Quote
Nephilim17 Posted November 15 Posted November 15 I know I'm supposed to never feel good about an injury but this pleases me. (As long as an injury isn't to the head or career-ending, I can appreciate them to the competition; the Bills have had a ton so I prefer a more level playing field.) 2 1 1 Quote

DCofNC Posted November 15 Posted November 15 I hope it’s the reason they have to go for it on 4th down, late in the game and Mahomes gets blown up, losing the game. 1 Quote
Charles Romes Posted November 15 Posted November 15 If Bass misses the 61 yarder, they may have signed Bass instead of the Jets guy. I’m not sure this injury is easily recovered from. The plant leg absorbs huge forces especially with a kicker as powerful as Butker. 1 Quote

That's a lot of pressure to have Reid, Mahomes, Kelce, Jones, etc, staring at you to make a big end of game kick. Everything this organization touches turns to gold. Taylor Swift will probably recommend a friend who kicks. He'll be signed and start kicking 60 yarders. 1 Quote
JDubya76 Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Chiefs luck = 3/3 xp and 3/3 on fgs with the third as time expires for the win because it’s the Chiefs Quote
Richard Noggin Posted November 15 Posted November 15 6 hours ago, RiotAct said: one missed kick or unsuccessful 4th down conversion by the Chiefs from our 40-ish yard line (where they would have tried the FG with Butker in) could very well be the difference in this game. Sucks for them, but…. oh freaking well!!! My immediate reaction is that I'd rather see them kicking FGs than going for it on 4th downs with the chance at TDs and more time of possession. 5 hours ago, BuffaloBaumer said: I actually worry that now they will be going for more 4th downs between the 35-45 yard line. Was able to shake it off (lol) and see the objective truth that this obviously is not a positive development for their season. 4 hours ago, Generic_Bills_Fan said: As bad as the bills are on 3rd and long defense we’ve gotta be one of the best 4th and short defenses in the league. I always hope teams go for more of those against us ARE the Bills a top 4th and short defense? Can definitely recall a couple stops, but have no clue where they stand overall. Quote

Mister Defense Posted November 15 Posted November 15 I wonder about this sometimes.. A player like Butker who often praises a higher being when successful.. which seems to imply that somehow that higher being chose him, and his team, for success on that day, rather than the others. What is their theory when bad things happen to them, like this, or losses? Do they blame, maybe even privately curse out, that higher being for doing this to them? Quote
