They're signing the guy that wasn't good enough to beat Greg Zuerlein?

I'd laugh my ass off but it would surely result in him hitting a 67 yrdr into a Lake Erie wind to beat us.

My first thought too

This is the chiefs we're talking about, here. Something tells me he suddenly goes 3/3 in FGs, and 2/2 on XPs.

And throws a TD pass on a fake...

Yep! This past weekend I was the sports bar watching the Bills and turned around to watch the Denver field goal attempt. I said, "he'll miss it", and wasn't the least bit surprised when it was blocked.

This has the potential to massively change the way the game is managed by the Chiefs. Butker is an automatic 3pts if you get to the 40. Now they will be going for 4th down on anything but chip shots.

No one was beating Zuerlein because his cap hit was higher if he was cut.

I did not know that.

But I'm still going to pretend that I don't so I can laugh at the Chiefs a little more.

I actually worry that now they will be going for more 4th downs between the 35-45 yard line.

As bad as the bills are on 3rd and long defense we’ve gotta be one of the best 4th and short defenses in the league.  I always hope teams go for more of those against us

It's not the Chiefs, but if you want to further clown on the Jets.. they also cut Austin Seibert just before the season who went to the commanders and was having a really great season for them while Zuerlein was a disaster.

On Spencer Shrader - He was a UDFA from Notre Dame. He was only 15 of 22 (68.2%) his final year there.

For the Jets - Against Houston he made 3 of 3 XPs, no FG attempts. Against Arizona he made 2 of 2 FGs, from 25 yards and 45 yards.

I can’t root against this kid.

Well, sure, when you consider he'll likely get 2 chances w/ some phantom Offside flags.

I’d be shocked if KC went undefeated now.  He’s a difference maker at a position that has few difference makers.

that said, I expect Spencer Shrader to be the new Harrison Butker…..practice squad kicker poached off one of the worst teams in the NfL turned all world

I'll see your stakes and raise you the truth. A backup always gets 100 yards running on us.  I bet he goes for 150 rushing yards and 3 TD's
