Saxum
Veteran linebacker Kwon Alexander is currently on the Denver Broncos practice squad. They've called him up a few times (3) this season. He's played well when he's had his number called but the Broncos are still at risk to lose him because they haven't signed him to their active roster. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlexKw00.htm
Breakout Squad
I’d take him. Gotta be better than Spector. 1 2

Well Spector is on IR so it gives time to evaluate Alexander before Spector is healthy but Spector has been playing a lot better than spot duty previously. Cray51
Kwon was a good player for the bucs for a few years, but has fallen off hard. I think he would be like a Deion Jones type signing at this point. 1

Spector was a better athlete coming out and has shown he can command our defense. Spector has better missed tackle % and more TFL. Will say Kwon has generated more splash plays (FF particularly) across his career and has previously been a better coverage player but the caveat there is that Baylon knows our system a lot better. I would rather stay with the younger cheaper player that knows our system better. baylon also feels like a better culture fit.

Plug and play and you're definitely getting the same player. That's not how it works - especially in McDermott's complicated Defense. They have no time with the playbook. No time developing chemistry with the players around them. There's no saying when they're ready they're going to be the same player in our scheme that they are elsewhere. And it would take weeks before McDermott would think about putting them on the field. This is why McDermott always values guys who have been here over players that may be more talented. A talent like Alexander almost assuredly would be valued less than anyone on the 53 that has had at least the offseason and the past 10 weeks in the building - including Spector. I'd go so far as to say they'd probably value Deion Jones over Kwon Alexander. Edited 42 minutes ago by BillsFanForever19 1

That’s fair. I just think Spector is a liability and constantly dealing with injuries.
