Don Otreply Posted Sunday at 06:59 PM Posted Sunday at 06:59 PM I read somewhere that it’s not so much a cast, but more of a “wrap” to add some padding and support, how valid that is, I don’t know, GO BILLS!!! Quote
Warcodered Posted Monday at 01:52 AM Posted Monday at 01:52 AM So should he just keep the cast on? 1 Quote
Einstein's Dog Posted Monday at 01:54 AM Posted Monday at 01:54 AM That's all we needed out of him. A few key catches, force the D to respect him, and then we could let Shakir eat. Coop will have bigger games, but getting out there when not 100% and doing what he did adds to his value for the Bills. Huge win! The later portion of the season now has eyes on a big seed. 7 1 1 Quote

WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted Monday at 02:27 AM Posted Monday at 02:27 AM That is pretty much exactly what the Bills need from Cooper this year. He isn't leaving off the stat page but those deep catches were critical and it stops teams from just defending the flats. 2 Quote

PoundingDog Posted Monday at 03:51 AM Posted Monday at 03:51 AM After his second catch, the Chiefs put McDuffie on him. Film will show whether he beat McDuffie or not. Maybe Allen did not want to take a chance and force an issue (like he used to do with Diggs). Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted Monday at 04:02 AM Posted Monday at 04:02 AM I don't know if this got posted but it's about how the play worked and how it's part of the overall trend of how playing conservative vs the Chiefs is a death sentence https://www.si.com/nfl/josh-allen-touchdown-bills-beat-chiefs 1 Quote

There really wasn’t any reason to try to take single coverage shots in this one once they made that switch. Even on the 3rd and long plays we missed it seems like guys were mostly wide open Edited Monday at 04:11 AM by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote
PoundingDog Posted Monday at 04:33 AM Posted Monday at 04:33 AM So this is a well established guy in the league who came in and saw first hand of Josh Allen and the Bills experience. Very plain and straight "big player making big plays at the big moments" from his mouth describing Josh. Guys know that in the locker room. And I want to point out it is probably THE reason Von, who used to be a big guy, is trying his best to prove he still is that guy to his fellows, even though he has been mentioning 13/14 years in the league a lot lately (hedging his diminishing big guy status). NickelCity Posted Monday at 07:28 AM Posted Monday at 07:28 AM Worth watching his post game interview. Really thoughtful and illuminating answers. 1 Quote

QB Bills Posted Monday at 08:14 AM Posted Monday at 08:14 AM (edited) I'll be the first to admit that I put some stock into the theory that he was maybe dogging it in a contract year and hadn't really warmed up to him as of yet. But he's won me over after that postgame interview. Seems like a good dude and was refreshingly candid and authentic. Edited Monday at 08:15 AM by QB Bills 2 2 1 Quote

I'll look at whether they had McDuffie follow Cooper side to side but I think after the 2nd catch he just wasn't out there that much. 1 Quote
