I know we will probably start the game with our usual first down run play but I really hope we let them know we are ready to play. Line Allen up in the shotgun and fire it deep to Amari on the first play

In a way, yes. He’s a free agent next year. The Bills are unlikely to sign him. So he has a lot of personal incentive to not further injure himself or be at less than his capability because it will

cost him in his next contract. As it is, his value is declining.

you don't know if the bills will re sign him!

You are correct!  You can read, but not very well.

First 4 offensive plays for the Bills.

Short run by Cook

The Chiefs will probably try to jam Cooper as much as possible to make him fight to get into his routes.

That would be a huge mistake. Without Watson they will get absolutely smoked similar to the jags game if they just man up. Conner and Johnson won't be able to keep up.  They don't have Sneed or Watson anymore.  Their corner play last year was the main reason they won the super bowl, along with a bunch of bills starters getting hurt in the Miami/ Steelers game

Ah, looks just like the old Nathaniel Hackett playbook

Can you imagine the jets locker room. They fire Saleh who was holding the defense together but Hackett gets to make a million a year getting Rodgers his coffee and basically just goof around with his drinking buddy in Rodgers 😂

What a clown car

With his wrist not being 100% I totally disagree with you.

Hes fine dude. He was catching passes on the jugs machine and from Allen. If it was actually questionable they would've elevated a wr....

He will be playing with a soft cast on. I’m not talking about catching passes. I’m talking about beating a jam which becomes much harder with a weak wrist.

If we aren't creative and open things up on 1st down, we will lose this game. The good news is this season we definitely throw more at home on 1st down than on the road.

Pretty sure I saw a stat about Allen & the Bills being pretty terrible throwing on first down. I think they were something like 4 for 11 for like 24 yards & 2 INTs last week.

That may be why they tend to run on first down. Not sure why they struggle so much with it, but I like where your head is at!

It is true. It's been an issue multiple times this season. In the two losses they were dreadful passing on first down too, Houston in particular. Conversely at Seattle their first down passing was really good. It's something they absolutely need to self scout on at the bye. It should be the easiest down to pass on but the Bills have struggled to do much of anything through the air on first down other than wide receiver screens.

I’m optimistic.  The Bills are great 2nd half team.  Their opening drives are vanilla garbage usually.

1st - run for 1 yard

2nd run for 2 yards

3rd-false start, incomplete pass

4th - punt

thats my prediction for Bills opening drive
