You think he just plastered that thing up himself and is lying about an injury? A WR in a cast is going to miss some time. Has nothing to do with him not "wanting" to play. If he plays in a cast like this thread implies, that assertion you made is even more ridiculous. 1 Quote
Captain_Quint Posted November 14 Posted November 14 A cast is a good weapon for a throat punch or clothesline if the game gets ugly. 2 1 2 1 1 Quote
GETTOTHE50 Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Thank goodness we have a bye coming up.. for our collective livers ofc 1 Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Honestly this is the injury I've had highlighted. Not having Coleman sucks. Likely not having Kincaid sucks. But without Cooper the Chiefs just dare the Bills to take deep shots by stacking the box and sitting on underneath routes 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted November 14 Posted November 14 36 minutes ago, MJS said: The win loss record or seeding should never be a factor in a player returning from injury. Either they are fit to play, or the aren't. The Bills are usually really good about that. I generally agree. The exceptions being win or go home games when you might push a guy. This isn't that so they should be cautious. Quote

It will serve us very well for the home stretch - we have quite a few guys who just need a week off. 1 Quote

Im sure some guy from cheektawaga knows more than the head coach of the team, who says "he's been cleared to play" It was a direct quote from Cooper himself saying he plans on playing in a cast on Sunday. Every year the fanbase treats the Chiefs regular season game like it's the Super Bowl. And every year, win or lose - it's meant absolutely nothing. At 8-2 with a 5 game lead on the Division, we're in a position where we could lose more games than we win down the stretch and it would still take an absolute miracle to not take the Division and be one of the Top 4 seeds. This game should be treated like any other game before the Bye. Put your healthy players on the field and their best effort forward. But having key players like Coleman, Cooper, Kincaid, and Brown as healthy as they can be for when it matters is WAY more important than 1 regular season game with the Chiefs. If there's any risk to reinjure or make things worse with key players that are under 100% - give them this week and the Bye off. 3 Quote

We need to manifest this and I can’t do it alone 😂 I'm right beside you Einstein. This game does mean a lot. If McD had to give A Cooper a push, so be it, good job. If Cooper needs a break for his wrist, the last 3 games of the season would be a much better time. And for those railing on A Cooper for his subdued behavior, remember the Bills were actively trying to get a non-uniform top tier WR. The normal top tier of WRs are mostly divas - the Diggs or D Adams of the world. A Cooper's playing, and hopefully contributing, through pain could really help accelerate his locker room presence. And while several upstream had said his value may take a hit by putting on tape a subpar (for him) performance, his value to the Bills FO rises significantly. 1 Quote

zow2 Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I'm sure playing with a cast won't impede his ability to catch frozen ropes from Allen at all 🙄 1 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I’d rather he sit out if he’s not 100%. It’s a big game sure but no bigger rn than any other game on our schedule. The 1 seed is cool to have but I’d rather have as healthy a roster as possible when we face the Ravens/Chiefs in the playoffs 3 Quote
Steptide Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Just heard kc's fg kicker is out. How ironic would it be if kc lost on a missed fg? 😬 Quote
