Cooper is the better route runner and outside WR. Wrist injury is disappointing but I expect a large impact on the offense down the stretch. Quote
akinko_kd Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Remember, he kept playing when he was with the Browns, even with Watson at QB. If he says he's in pain, then he really is. 2 2 Quote

Some guys are natural alpha competitors who will bring the fire wherever they go. Other guys... are like Amari. I do not understand the, all-of-a-sudden, disdain for Cooper. The man is injured. He has produced his whole career. 4 3 Quote
BillsFan130 Posted November 14 Posted November 14 The more frustrating part is apparently tyreek hill has played with a torn ligament(s) in his wrist the last 2-3 games. And cooper is sitting out with exactly what? Can't be worse than Hill's injury 1 Quote

I'm fine if they sit him this week and through the bye personally. I know what that means for our chances this week but honestly to get the 1 seed is a massive ask anyway. Agreed. Sit Josh and start Trubisky. We can afford to let this one slip away Quote

Cooper is 800k cap hit for us, Hopkins is 4.4mm cap hit for Chiefs. We would've needed to free up a few million in cap space to fit Hopkins. Not ideal, but it wouldn't break the bank either. FWIW Cooper only missed 5 starts in the previous 9 seasons. I don't think the guy suddenly got lazy or unmotivated now that he's on a SB contender. 3 3 Quote

Good film sells more than anything. There's plenty of film on a 10 year vet. That's now what will sell him on his next team. What he does this season will determine his worth. 37 minutes ago, HansLanda said: He had 1250 yards last year...with the BROWNS. I get the frustration, however he has an injury to a part of his body that is important when it comes to catching and holding a football. Can we not give him the benefit of the doubt and see how he is down the stretch and into the playoffs? He is being given the benefit of the doubt--his HC is heavily hinting he's ready to play, Cooper says he's not. So he's not playing at this point. His output on the Browns wasn't enough to keep him. Bills have him on a 1 year rental and the #1 seed is at risk every week. They need him to get up to speed well before the playoffs. Quote

He is a free agent and teams are going to see what his worth is based on this season. Why do you think they say players play best in their contract year? It's because they want their film to look good when they hit the market. Quote

BuffaloBillies Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Sunday at 4:25 ET will be pretty close to exactly 3 weeks since he hurt his wrist. No broken bones, no report of ligament damage. It just hurts. 3 weeks Quote

It's because they want their film to look good when they hit the market. I posted that already. Sitting around in a contract year isn't a strong move. As for "contract year", he really hasn't faced one--he was traded from every team and only 1 (Cowboys) extended an existing contract. Quote
