I'll say it, he didn't like the trade and isn't going to play. No idea why, but I saw his body language and face in his 2nd game and it was clear something was off. BeastMaster Posted Thursday at 02:25 PM Posted Thursday at 02:25 PM I was one of those people that warned TBD about this guy being soft and quitting on his team He is an upgrade when he's out there, but he's more about himself than the team, and he will make decisions that aren't about the best interest of what the team needs 1 1 Quote

Every other team sees an aging journeyman who doesn't want to go back in the game and a HC who doesn't know what to do with him. 4 Quote

Because he doesn't want to risk looking poor on the field because he isn't 100%. Good film sells more than anything. 2 Quote

He had 1250 yards last year...with the BROWNS. I get the frustration, however he has an injury to a part of his body that is important when it comes to catching and holding a football. Can we not give him the benefit of the doubt and see how he is down the stretch and into the playoffs? 11 2 1 Quote

GunnerBill Posted Thursday at 02:31 PM Posted Thursday at 02:31 PM Definitely concerning, but I'm not going to freak out about this yet. I'm fine if they sit him this week and through the bye personally. I know what that means for our chances this week but honestly to get the 1 seed is a massive ask anyway. 6 4 Quote

And his sideline "look" is of a guy who doesn't want to be here. Where the hell else he would want to go is beyond me. 1 Quote
thenorthremembers Posted Thursday at 02:35 PM Posted Thursday at 02:35 PM Does the guy have a broken wrist? He's missed or played an insignificant number of snaps in 3 of 4 games. I honestly think the Bills would have been willing to give him a 1–2-year deal at the end of the season had he come here and helped the offense. I am all for guys getting healthy but it is getting a little weird. 2 Quote

While I do not know if you are a professional about body language, I certainly am not, but it is widely known AC is not a hugely animated man - talent and work ethic was never in question even at Alabama. 3 1 Quote

All the arm chair qb's and keyboard warriors here are ready to tar and feather the guy and run him out of town. He has a wrist injury. Can't imagine catching fastballs from Allen or any other QB is easy while wearing a cast on an injured wrist. I for one am 100% willing and able to give Amari the benefit of the doubt and am excited to see what he can do when fully healthy. If that means he doesn't play this weekend and uses the bye week to heal for the stretch run, so be it. I'd rather have him back in time to get acclimated to the offense thee last 4 or 5 games of the season than risk re-injury Sunday. 1 3 Quote

Process Posted Thursday at 02:56 PM Posted Thursday at 02:56 PM McDermott does seem annoyed when talking about him. But it could just be Sean being Sean and not wanting to discuss injuries. It's disappointing to trade for a guy and not see him play. But hopefully he comes out of the bye healthy and ready to ball. 1 Quote
Coach Tuesday Posted Thursday at 02:58 PM Posted Thursday at 02:58 PM One of the risks you take when you bring a guy in midseason is that he doesn't have the same investment in the team as his new teammates. Some guys are natural alpha competitors who will bring the fire wherever they go. Other guys... are like Amari. 1 2 Quote
