djp14150 Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Over the next 5 weeks the schedule is week 11 KC- BUF, LV-MIA , IND-Jets, Rams-NE week 12 NE-MIA. Bills, jets bye week 13 SF-BUF, MIA-GB, SEA-Jets, IND-NE week 14 BUF-Rams, Jets-MIA. NE bye week 15 BUF-DET, MIA-HOU, jets-JAX, NE-AZ Bills clinch division with… W 3 they clinch division at 1 W. Best Jets snd NE can do is 10W, MIA can hit 12 but bills swept them W 2 and MIA/Jets/NE all L or T once W once and all 3 L 1.5 times or more ( tie is half a loss) it’s possible going into SF-BUF that BUF knows they W they clinch division or have the division clinched already through Bills beating KC and other 3 do LL or a LT among their 2-3 games 2 2 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted November 14 Posted November 14 The Bills are winning the Division barring a complete collapse. And if they do suffer such a catastrophic collapse does the season even matter? 2 7 2 Quote

A loss on Sunday takes the 1 out of play, a win keeps the 1 in play. 3 Quote
Sharky7337 Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I mean do we really need to count our chickens before they are hatched? 2 Quote

Pitts/Baltimore/Houston all have much tougher schedules than ours. They are all likely to be in the 5-7 loss range. We are likey to be in the 3-5 loss range. Quote
Ballhawk Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Best Miami can hit is actually 11. At this point it seems like the Bills will be the first to clinch a playoff spot. What will be more interesting (to me), will be tracking the Chiefs to figure out how casually the Bills approach the end of the year (as it relates to the possibility of the #1 seed in the east). Everything starts this weekend, you lose this game and it wouldn't surprise me if the Bills took a rest and relax approach at the expense of the #2 seed. 2 Quote

I want KC to get knocked out by Baltimore in an earlier round so we host the championship game. 2 Quote
Sojourner Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Week 14 bye weeks are insane. In a world of hypotheticals, could you imagine if the division was actually a competition and the following were true: we had our bye week as early as those in Weeks 5&6 the Pats actually being better than what they are with Maye (a la Jayden Daniels and Washington) having a week 14 bye week and then playing our Bills twice after that bye week to end the season. In other words, thank goodness for them being a rough team firstly. Secondly, thankful we also have a later bye week. Quote
Logic Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I'm just glad we're not on the "in the hunt" graphic this year. That thing is stressful. 1 2 2 Quote

bleve Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I remember not too long ago that in November before Thanksgiving, the talk of the day was who we should draft and at what position. Now we're talking about how soon to clinch lol. I like it! 1 3 Quote

I always say that the only thing certain after a Bills game is that I'll be having a beer. It'll either be a celebratory beer or a consolation beer to make the loss hurt a little less. But either way -- beer is certain! 2 1 Quote
dma0034 Posted November 14 Posted November 14 If let's say Allen gets hurt and his return is week 1 of the playoffs.... how many games do we think the Bills have to win the rest of the season to win the division? My answer would be 2. I don't think the Dolphins get to 10 wins. I don't think the Jets or Patriots win 8. Division is pretty much over at this point Quote

Why is thinking the Chiefs can't lose more games than just to the Bills? Last week being a primary example as 80% or more of time they lose to Denver. Count in endless other 1 score games they've been in. Sure they're undefeated but they haven't been world beaters. Edited November 14 by The Jokeman Quote
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Kind of rooting for NE, Miami and the Jets to win a couple of games to keep them from getting any great draft picks. Get them out of the top 10! 2 1 Quote
