Week 11 Around the NFL

Starting early because this game has got me almost as pumped as our game - and this comment is simply awesome

I’ve really grown to like Tomlin a lot over the last few years.

Maybe it’s the William and Mary connection with McD.

Or maybe it’s a successful DC as HC that just keeps winning.

Awesome slate of playoff level matchups.  Even WAS/PHI on Thursday night is solid too.

100%.

Definitely the best week of games so far.

Me too.  Always fields a team good enough to get knocked out in the Wild Card round.  I think the last time they won a playoff game Obama was in office.  Never really have to worry about them but can play spoiler against the Bengals and Ravens.

Quote

Two weeks after benching Anthony Richardson, then hinting the 2023 first-round draft pick might never start for the team again, Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen has completely reversed course. Coming off two losses with backup Joe Flacco under center, Steichen told reporters Wednesday that Richardson will return as the starting quarterback not only in Week 11 but for the rest of the 2024 NFL season.

Bills have destroyed another QB.

Two SuperBowl appearances and a Championship.

11 trips to the playoffs, 3 AFC Championship games, and 17 years without a losing season.

He was broken a long time ago. Last year he had the highest INT/Attempt of any QB in the league.

Barely recognize him without his hat and/or sunglasses

Talk about a tipping point week for the AFC:

Chiefs at Bills

Ravens at Steelers

Bengals at Chargers

there is still enough time left in the season for teams to get better and worse, but this week is gonna be the biggest indicator of who the top dogs really are.  if the games end up being competitive and close then the playoff hype will be immense!

Honestly I respect the brutally honest answer

Some people might say that's a talking point to make the other team play better.. but he's just calling it like he sees it

I don't have any problem with it.

I will say though the guy who made the statement didn't like people pointing out the reality of his accomplishments.  He seemed pretty salty with the media the week of the playoff game in Buffalo last year and after the game.  Didn't seem to like the question/thought from the media about why they haven't won a playoff game in so long and whether or not he would be back as the coach.

So while he is laughing today if it goes sour for him and people say similar things about him and the steelers I hope he keeps that sense of humor.
