Here’s a novel idea that DOGE is bringing to D.C.: read the law. Not an agency rule, or a bureaucrat’s summary of the law, or the media’s distillation of it, but the actual *statute* itself. I’m hearing “experts” say all kinds of things we can or can’t do, when it usually turns out they’ve actually never read the statutes themselves (and exhibit shockingly little interest in doing so).
