No you freaking dolt, there's a special place in hell for people using their self-proclaimed expert status to deny the sinister nature of the bio-weapon that was released upon humanity.

Your opinion and $3 will buy a coffee at McDonalds (they’ll charge extra). In contrast, I was paid fairly well for my medical opinion

Do you support the Covid vaccine that Trump created using Operation Warp Speed?

Wrong thread.

But you knew that.

It's not my option you human paraquat. It's the actual science, that actual scientists have gone into great lengths explaining why COVID 19 had to have been created in a lab.

And the only thing that you offer is appeal to authority. Not one single attempt to refute the science.

No no.

If it was truly a deadly Chinese bioweapon, then it would follow that he supports Trump’s Warp Speed vaccine and all the other mitigation efforts enforced.

the actual science?  actually?  There is no consensus on the origin by the scientific community.  But you maga's just know better.  magical thinking sucks..morons pretending to think sucks worse.

I've seen it 100's of times.  I don't believe he has any cognitive impairment.  His speech has been abnormal his entire life.  by all accounts, it has actually improved.  gait and facial expressions abnormalities are more suggestive of Parkinsons but I don't see those characteristic changes either and he has no tremor.

I've been around many scientists for most of my adult life.  I can think of only one that I would consider intellectually dishonest.

Not looking to enter the larger food fight, just wanted to mention in my 20+ years in research at a fortune 500 company I have seen many intellectually dishonest scientists. Not many would admit to it of course. Quite common for them to put their thumb on the scale to make the idea they were proposing look more promising(and therefore more likely to receive funding).

Also saw similar behavior from my advisor  while obtaining my MS degree.

Doesn't mean it happens everywhere but in my experience it has not been rare.

Bureaucracy supports democracy. Without a functioning government apparatus, you have anarchy.

Haha…Of course you would support lifetime unelected officials, who are never held to account, to make decisions for you…because democracy? 🤣🤣🤣

I think you just said the quiet part out loud by accident, because it makes you sound pretty dumb…

I worked in 2 graduate science departments while doing an MS and MD. Also did some independent research at another major university. As you are no doubt aware, you get to know most of the faculty and grad students within a department very well through symposia, lectures, dissertation presentations etc. My wife also is a graduate level scientist. We certainly met some strange and unusual characters. As they say, genius is often borderline insanity. But I know of only one faculty member who fudged results and no grad students. Could I just be unaware of some?  Sure.
