And yet, DOGE will accomplish precisely nothing to fix them. Thanks for giving Elon more attention though.

Well, Joe didn't "shut down Wuhan virus" so...

Vivek Ramaswamy, President-elect Donald Trump's choice to co-lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) with entrepreneur Elon Musk, is expected to soon step away from the task force, CBS News has learned. Ramaswamy intends to announce a campaign for Ohio governor as soon as the end of January, multiple sources confirmed to CBS News.

Ramaswamy, 39, had no comment.

People close to Musk have privately undercut Ramaswamy for weeks, frustrated with his lack of participation in the heavy lifting, according to sources familiar with the internal dynamics. There has been friction between the incoming rank and file DOGE staff and Ramaswamy, the sources said, and Ramaswamy has been subtly encouraged to exit.

"Vivek has worn out his welcome," one person close to Trump said.

Let me guess: anonymous sources?  LOL!

There was friction, but Vivek wants to run for Governor of Ohio and would have had to declare it soon anyway.

He is more suited for an executive position.

But the usual crowd will grab at any tiny straw they can today.

It of little concern.

Last I looked the "person close(st) to Trump" was none other than Elon.

So those musings/quotes were from Musk?

I wouldn't be surprised.

Vivek made what used to be called a Kinsley Gaffe: when a politician inadvertently speaks the truth. He said that there are too many Americans more concerned about who's the prom king and queen than who's the valedictorian, and until that changes we're going to need to import intellect. We know Elon believes this too, but come one, you can't say that ...

Trump echoed it as well.  And that undercuts the Dems' claims that Repubs don't want any immigrants in the country.  Immigrants who bring value are always welcome.
