Seems like it would be a bonanza for them. The media has happily bent over for Trump. Look at the Washington Post changing its opinion section so they don’t post anything that would make Donny or Elon mad. 1

stevestojan Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Why do my fellow democrats who post on here always just make things worse with hyperbole and emotion? It’s slowly convincing me I’m an independent, and like agnostics, I feel like that’s the easy way out. But man, some of the ***** y’all post isn’t helping y(our) cause. i need to get back over to the main board where it’s safe and all people do is send hate to a 23 year old named Elam. 1

Great question. It’s very common. I don’t know the answer but suspect it’s because they are arguing a very weak point at such times. Why do you think they do it?

It’s really sad how you get outclassed constantly and have to resort to responses like this. 3 hours ago, stevestojan said: Why do my fellow democrats who post on here always just make things worse with hyperbole and emotion? I literally LOLed out loud when I read they removed the contract ids from the website to hide it but left it in the HTML code for the page. Anyone could do view source in their web browser and see it. LOL. Just like this cat did. This is coming from Joe Tech Support and his super geeky young whiz kids. We already know they don't do COBOL. Seems now they don't know much about HTML either. 1 1
reddogblitz Posted March 17 Posted March 17 (edited) Seems that the social security database culling to remove dead people is not going so great either for "Tech Support". In it's effort to remove dead people it seems they are making some live people dead so as to stop paying them. Quote “DOGE Has 10 Staffers at Social Security in Hunt for Dead People,” the headlines read this past week. I found a dead person on Social Security. Right here in Seattle, on Capitol Hill. Of course the circumstances of Ned Johnson’s death were completely the opposite of what Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency had claimed was rampant. “You wake up one day and discover you’re dead,” Johnson told me. “It’s been truly surreal.” That’s the biggest difference — my deceased guy turns out to be very much alive. Musk is contending that hordes of dead people are listed as alive in the Social Security databases, and are fraudulently still drawing benefits (which the Social Security director disputes). Johnson is 82 and still kicking. Yet sometime last month, someone or something led Social Security to both tag him as dead and start clawing back his benefits. Johnson’s strange trip through the netherworld began in February, when a letter from his bank arrived addressed to his wife, Pam. “We recently received notification of LEONARD A. JOHNSON’s passing,” it began. “We offer our sincerest condolences …” https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/politics/heres-a-dead-person-on-social-security-in-seattle-with-plenty-to-say/ Fortunately Ned was not totally dependent on SS to survive but many are. It could make them homeless by breaking things as President Musk likes to do. Edited March 17 by reddogblitz 1 1

They've made errors in the past and will likely make them in the future. So you can't take one random example of an error and conclude there's some systemic problem. DOGE won't be perfect either. But that doesn't mean its not effective in rooting out fraud, waste, and abuse. So there's one mistake highlighted. Fix it.

The argument you are making to support your belief that torture occurred at Logan Airport in Boston has devolved into “the media is happily covering up torture on US soil in order to protect Donald Trump”. Your stories of settling on multiple houses are more plausible. Come on.

So know he’s against any kind of investigation into waste and fraud in 2025. You can see right through their corruption. Except for the leftists here, who vehemently defend their masters thievery. Good little cucks they are! 1 1

But that doesn't mean its not effective in rooting out fraud, waste, and abuse. So there's one mistake highlighted. Fix it. You make a good point about any system not being perfect. And I hope they do fix it. Ned had to spend 2 days on the phone and then go to a SS office and wait in a long line to fix it. And these are 2 things DOGE wants to cut (SS offices and phone support). My concern is DOGE seems to be making a lot of mistakes such as there are 150,000 people over 150 years old getting SS checks or firing nuclear scientists but not having the contact info to hire them back or saying they saved 8 billion when really it was 8 million or triple counting contract cut or trying to hide the contract #s from the wall of receipts (so much for transparency) and forgetting to take it out of the HTML code. I have a hard time believing them at this point. And now we find out DOGErs are working 120 hours a week. No one can work that much and be on the top of their game not matter how smart they are or how big their balls are. It's a recipe for mistakes which I see them making a lot of. Maybe you think you can trust them and it will work out, but I don't trust anyone in government.
