The "nobody voted for Musk" thing is stupid on the face of it.  But every Congress critter is voted-in based on at-most maybe 5% of the population of the US.  So...

This is absolutely messed up and luckily they fired the people involved. There are people in NC that are homeless due to natural disasters which is what those funds are supposed to be for!

It's one person they mentioned, maybe they have a spouse that makes a lot of money or received a large inheritance? The idea that you can single out one person as having a high net worth working for the government as some sign that they are selling data is a rather large leap to take.
