In Northern Virginia there are these scooters and e-bikes that people rent by the mile and you can leave them anywhere. Do they have them in WNY and why is not one the companies renting them not leaving a bunch to be rented by stadium for people to ride to their cars? I am surprised that a person with a shielded truck is not just picking them up, removing transponders then shipping them overseas to be sold./ Quote

Boston had plenty but 35% of the population isn't driving cars Everybody has a car in orchard Park.. not like the City of Buffalo where there is close to 30% of the people with no vehicle There might be more e-bikes or scooters in the city... Everybody who lives in the suburbs has a car in orchard Park Except children Edited November 16 by Buffalo716 Quote

The insurance carrier I use informed me last year that they would no longer provide payment for the inhaler I was using originally (Tudorza) because the cost was too far out of the acceptable price range for that tier of drug so my pulminologist switched me to a different one (Trelegy) that they do cover. Of course the COPD issues I have will never go away but so far it doesn't seem to have gotten any worse over the past year since the prescription change. Getting old sucks! I recently celebrated b-day number 72 and thank God my wife only put one candle on the freakin cake to blow out Coincidently, I am also 72. From the sounds of it, your COPD has progressed further than mine. I can handle more than one candle at a time. My wife and I have not put the same number of candles as our age on the cake in decades. We use number candles now. My primary care doctor prescribed a drug for me a couple years ago. He also prescribed a second one in case the first was too expensive. The first one had a copay over $400 and the second just under $400. My medicare advantage plan is with one of the highest rated companies out there. When I see the pulminologist, I'm going to ask if they can help me look for a drug option that is more reasonable. I'm also going to ask if they will test for A1AtD, a somewhat rare genetic condition results in a deficiency of a certain protein. Persons who have this deficiency often develop emphysema with no apparent environmental reason. I happen to be a life-long passionate non-smoker. If I happen to have this deficiency, there is another treatment available to supplement the protein level in my body, which might halt or slow the progress of the disease. That is my best case scenario. Quote
