Unless I get handicap tags for my car, I'm afraid my in person attendance days are over.  Just too much walking.  Neither my legs nor my lungs will take it any more.

You really know how to liven things up, Big Al!

You don't need "tags" for your car. You need to go to your local town, city or village office and get a form to fill out that your doctor signs to get a handicapped parking permit. In case any of you are unaware.. the red ones you see hanging from mirrors are temporary permits and the blue ones are permanents.

Not sure your situation but wouldn't walking more improve your ability to walk longer distances?

I used to think that too... until I developed COPD about 10 years ago myself that has progressively gotten worse. There are numerous forms of COPD and I'm not about to get into a health discussion here but there are times I can walk a half mile with no problem at all and other times I can't make it from one end of the house to the other without stopping to catch my breath.

Like everything else in my life my case is backwards. I don't have any problem getting air IN... my problem is getting it to come back OUT. I know... that sounds really stupid and hard to believe. That's what I kept telling the doctors when it first started and it just came out of nowhere.

If you were a doctor, your advice to walk more would be also. You don't know his situation and this isn't the forum to get into it.

My first words were "not sure your situation" in that post.

Hate it for you.  I have never known anyone with COPD or the issues with it.  I appreciate you letting me know.

They sure were. That should have been your cue to stop typing.

Or, alternatively, you could have also chosen not to correct someone for cracking wise.
