Most often a job held by a female media member and then normally that job includes a bunch of other media work for the team. But Maddy Glab gets all of that work. So it's a "piece of a job" as they say on the street. Which streets are you on? Quote

I'm going to be honest I didn't realize Dalton was hurt on that play. It's not like he was slow in getting up. Feels disingenuous to me to blame that injury on the QB though. It was certainly a bad throw, but the injury is just bad luck. Dalton might fall to the ground like that 100 times and only get injured once. Quote
transplantbillsfan Posted November 12 Posted November 12 The Cover 1 guys are actually usually pretty critical of Allen. 1 Quote
VW82 Posted November 12 Posted November 12 These guys are running a business. This isn't the old days where Jerry Sullivan could crap on anything and everything Bills and get away with it under cover of Buffalo News. It's not that disimilar to here. You criticize Josh and you might as well take a leave of absence. Why would cover 1 risk their subscriber base (mostly Josh fans) by doing anything more than the lightest of touch when he doesn't play well? And honestly, he's such a superduperstar that being overly critical is kind of missing the point anyway. Games like Sunday (objectively a bad game for him) are run-of-the-mill for 70% of the league. SoonerBillsFan Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Im still trying to figure out why Bills fans would want a site to go out of their way to criticize Josh Allen. I mean we already have this forum... 1 1 Quote

Also helps them possibly get more access from the team in the future. So they are going to focus on the positive. The key is doing that without alienating the more critical crowd by making nonsense excuses for failure. But I heard Shill Carpaccio on WGR this am and the callers are really getting sick of his over-the-top ball washing. Some dude with a heavy Indian accent called in demanding over and over that Shill be honest before he answers his question. Then the next caller was disgusted by Shill's constant organizational apologizing. It was hilarious listening to him realizing that HIS particular audience is sick of being bullish!tted and talked down to while he endeavors to stay in the best grace's of the team above all else. I gotta say (and I fully realize you don't care and that a leopard like you doesn't often change his spots): Calling people names like you do makes you sound like a 5th grader. Shill Carpaccio? I've learned over time that, despite your often off-putting and smug demeanor, you actually have a lot to offer in terms of knowledge and opinions. Nothing discredits it and diminishes it faster, though, than the name-calling nonsense. Just an observation. 1 2 Quote

But he is a great slot corner. That 2nd INT was a great play by the defender. Kudos to him. Quote

Some of you just stay ready to place blame on the greatest Bill to ever live. What actually happened is that Kincaid got illegally jammed 6 yards downfield (max is 5 yards) and it slowed him down just the tiniest bit which is why the throw was off just a tiny bit. Allen threw it to exactly where Kincaid was supposed to be. Here is a gif of the play. May take a couple seconds to load. 2 Quote

Blame him for winning? He missed the throw badly. That’s all it was. Kincaid was injured on the overthrow. Nothing more to say. Allen is amazing. But he missed. They are throwing to a spot where the receiver is supposed to be. That is the ENTIRE REASON why defenders jam. It is to disrupt timing! Quote

Certain plays the QB is throwing to a spot, but this was just a classic overthrow. It happens. The gif cuts out when Allen releases the ball. I can assure you Allen took responsibility for that incompletion. Edited November 13 by Sabres 2025 Quote

It was thrown exactly as it should have been and Kincaid is celebrating a TD if he wasn’t jammed. This is one of those situations where the defender did his job, and it’s not the QB or WR’s fault. The other team gets paid too. That being sad, I’m not going to keep arguing with a brand new user who probably only made their account to troll Josh Allen. Quote

Ian Hartitz @Ihartitz. It isn't really worth arguing about. It is obviously an overthrow. No big deal. Allen had some pressure on him but he clearly released it after Kincaid was open. 1 Quote
