Good thing, as a I said a couple weeks back, is Tyreek Hill's reign of terror appears over. Still a decent player but not what he used to be.

I was told Hill's lower stats I cited for the year were because of Tua's absence. Well, in the games Tua has player since his return, here are Hill's stats...

72 yards receiving vs Cards

80 yards vs Bills

16 yards vs Rams and first TD since week 1

Decent but nothing great.

Perhaps he needs to rebuild his chemistry with Tua. But I'd say it's more likely age has caught the fastest man in the league.

Right now they don’t want Tua in the pocket too long.

Hill is mostly running off safeties and being a decoy.

At least tonight he was.

Something not right tho with him.  The lack of practice ….surprise toe injury mid week.  Then the wrist.

Didn't see him interact with McD or anyone really tonight.

They’re back in it.  Expect a week of full practices wouldn’t surprise me.

Maybe he's injured but older players don't bounce back from injury the same. I could be wrong but I don't expect to see Hill get too many more 100-yard games going forward.

'Sean McVay sucks' isn't going to get any traction among NFL fans

That's just a dumb take

So you thought he coached a great game tonight?

I was obviously exaggerating… but J thought he 100% sucked tonight and he was the reason why the Rams sit at 4-5

You know how you start thinking people are smart and then you realize that they are not. That’s the NFL (and pretty much everything else), Rams hire McVay, a thirty year old, he has success eventually winning a Super Bowl. That spawns the “Sean McVay effect”. Teams decide young is now the way to go instead of the usual options, old retread, hot coordinator, or hot college coach. I’ll bet some teams interviewed middle schoolers, “Timmy what’s your philosophy on pre-snap motion?”. Have the wunderkinds worked out any better? Since the Super Bowl win Rams have been pretty average. The offense should be better with those receivers. McVay doesn’t look like a genius. Hard to say who won the QB trade. Rams get a championship, but appear to need a QB of the future. Offensive line looks pretty awful, all that motion doesn’t matter if you don’t block. Oh well, I could really care less about the Rams.
