That’s the NFL (and pretty much everything else), Rams hire McVay, a thirty year old, he has success eventually winning a Super Bowl. That spawns the “Sean McVay effect”. Teams decide young is now the way to go instead of the usual options, old retread, hot coordinator, or hot college coach. I’ll bet some teams interviewed middle schoolers, “Timmy what’s your philosophy on pre-snap motion?”. Have the wunderkinds worked out any better? Since the Super Bowl win Rams have been pretty average. The offense should be better with those receivers. McVay doesn’t look like a genius. Hard to say who won the QB trade. Rams get a championship, but appear to need a QB of the future. Offensive line looks pretty awful, all that motion doesn’t matter if you don’t block. Oh well, I could really care less about the Rams. 1 Quote
