How about Milano AND Dodson? With all respect and gratitude to Klein, I don't want a repeat of the KC playoff game. Milano and Bernard backed up by Dorian and Dodson sounds good to me.

I didn't expect this to happen so early. Wonderful news. I guess we have to see if he's still the same player after a season and a half off the field, but he'll have basically a full month to ramp up for the playoffs.

Wow.  Didn't have that on my Bingo card today.  Awesome.

 

What's most surprising is the timing with the Bye week coming up.  Seems like they could have waited a couple weeks to do it and open it afterwards.  But, maybe he's a lot closer than we all think.  Maybe they are thinking he's going to be ready to go coming right out of the Bye.  That would be crazy, but it would be awesome.  Luckily, Williams has been playing fairly well as he's filled in so maybe they can just ease Milano back in instead of just throwing him out there and hoping for the best.  Get him some live reps each week slowly increasing those reps so he is ready for the Playoffs.  Who knows.  But they obviously feel very good about where he's at or this wouldn't be happening.

Literally no reason to do this before the KC game if they are not 100% he is playing by Dec 4th.  They could have bought 2 extra weeks and choose not to

I have nothing to base this on medically but Milano recovering so fast from the bicep makes me feel more confident about his leg. 

 

Also, Matt being back to 95+% by playoffs is the one addition that could realistically make us a SB favourite.

That's about as good as we could have hoped for in terms of recovery time: back in the roster in December with a few weeks to get back into game shape and ready to roll in the playoffs
