GunnerBill Posted November 13 Posted November 13 The Dolphins linebackers are really bad, so makes some sense. But they are particularly awful in coverage and I don't know how much Dodson helps there. 2 1 Quote

They can’t really “refuse”, but they can not report and force the team to cut or put them on a did not report list - which may get your wish for a release. It has happened a limited number of times in the past. It just would not happen with Dodson because the claiming means he gets the rest of his 4.6 million dollar contract - rather than signing for vet minimum or a PS position to help Buffalo. In the end - you report and if things are not great - the agent can make it known he wants released as there are usually a handful of veterans released the last few weeks of the season. He is an interesting fit with Miami as he will help the around the LOS game, but where the Dolphins are terrible is pass coverage and he is not that kind of LB. 1 1 1 Quote

I mean they are kind of terrible in every way at linebacker.... but yea more terribly terrible in coverage. 1 Quote

I mean, for sure, after all they did beat a mediocre to poor Rams team. I'll say this though. If we could get the 2 seed and the Dolphins sneak in as the 7 seed, I certainly won't be upset about that. 1 Quote

With his cap hit, just didn't seem wise He'd be on the bench unless injury He would have been for sure thats why I said if you went down and LB. But point is moot apparently the Dolphins claimed him. This reminds me of Terrell Suggs after he got waived by Arizona and stated he'd only play for Ravens, instead he got claimed by the Chiefs and ended his career with a Super Bowl ring. Quote

I think he just straight up quit football lol. Edited November 13 by blacklabel 1 Quote
