I was comparing the end result. Clearly we have a much better culture, a better program, a better everything. But for all that better it's got us what again?

Then with that logic, you can say the Bills are only as good of a team as almost any team in the league that has have not won a Super Bowl in the last five years. Instead of the clear, serious contenders that they have been--and clearly are again this year.

My OP is about how dysfunctional jerry's mess of a team is, and so will not be a contender unless there is a dramatic change in the team leadership. That is not the Bills, and only so to haters I assume.

I am assuming if I checked your posts I would see that you are not a fan of McDermott  and/or Beane? And that this is just more of the same from you.

The Cowboys are 36-15 the last three years. The Bills are 35-15. We have 2 additional wild card victories. Totally missed it, you’re right! It’s embarrassing to be discussed in even the same breath. We have nothing in common.

Yup!  Exactly.

Just checked and literally almost every post of yours on the Bills is just you ripping into the Bills and their leadership, finding HUGE fatal flaws in almost every single move they make, no matter what the facts say.

That is emotion at its worst, the hate just eating someone up, as they filter all facts through a dark mass of sludge. So it comes out the other side looking nothing like reality.

I am shocked! LOl

We don’t have the worst defense in the divisional round or later of any team in football since Allen joined the Bills? That will change this year you think? I liked Cooper, Coleman. I like a lot of what we do. I don’t like our HC. It’s really that simple. As I have said a billion times. It would be wonderful if I’m wrong about McMarty.

As it stands, I’m just calling out your complete disconnect from reality. We have accomplished a fraction more than Dallas by any standard. If you swapped the names and just showed results they would be virtually indistinguishable from each other.  Yet you put us on a pedestal thinking they’re some dysfunctional team and we are some world class one. They’re a mess this year, but the last three seasons are nearly a carbon copy of our perceived greatness. Yet it’s me who is horribly off base in this analysis?

They have won only 4 playoff games in the last 25 years. And they have not even sniffed a championship, as they came by their good regular season record by beating the patsies  in their weak division, schedule.

The fact that the stadium sells out impresses no one, well almost no one.  If you cannot almost ever beat a good team at home and win a big game, and this year with their four consecutive home losses by at least 2O points, an NFL record, having a sell out crowd in your cavernous stadium just makes it all the more embarrassing, pathetic.

Jones is confused.  He thinks creating a successful NFL team is like creating any other successful business, but it is not.

We've won 5 in the last 25 yrs

You may as well be talking about the bills, how bout a little self awareness

We have been to a Conference Championship game though. Only the Browns, the Commanders and the Dolphins have longer conference championship game droughts than Dallas. There are teams like the Bills and the Lions and the Jags etc who have been dysfunctional for long parts of the last quarter decade but have had periods of being good (some shorter than others) and in their best seasons have made Championship games. Dallas has actually made the playoffs 11 times in 25 years. 7 times they were one and done, 4 times they won a wildcard game and lost in the divisional round. For comparison of those other conference championship drought teams - the Browns have made the post season 3 times in 25 years, the Commanders 6 times in 25 years and the Dolphins 7 times in 25 years.

We also have the far better QB than Dallas does. Dak is good, but he isn’t Josh Allen.

If we switch Josh and Dak the last 4 seasons, does Dallas look more like Buffalo and Buffalo more like Dallas? I think so.

This topic solely exists as revisionist history to kick Dallas when they are down and to rewrite that they haven’t been one of the best teams in the NFC the last 3 years.

The "Boys" are coming into a rebuild but don't want to admit it.

I think they've taken a page out of the Bills book by locking up some key players and hoping they could just reload the rest......and as you can see, it ain't working.

In the offseason, things are going to get real interesting in "Jerry Land". They'll have to seriously consider parting ways with the HC, the GM, re-evaluate their spending with Dak now locked up (he's not very good, by the way),etc.

I agree with this especially with Dak injured so significantly... Its time I think for them to start looking at QB...  Lance cant unseat Rush, so he isnt the answer.

only someone looking at the Bills through an extremely dark dense cloud over the last 5 years would think they are in the same class as the Cowboys. There is no comparison.

I have been saying the same things about Dallas for the last 3-4 years.  They are team that acquired its good record by beating up their weak division.  Almost every time they have been challenged by good teams, and in big games, they have not come through--and often in embarrassing ways.

That is not the case for the Bills.

Their divisional rival went to the SB 2 years ago and has been a playoff team 3 of the last 4 years (and will likely be a playoff team this year)

That’s better than every single divisional opponent in the AFCE, right?

Oh my god, you're kidding right? Who has been better than the Eagles in the AFC East the last three years? What are the big games that we have come through in?

Hey come on now. We haven’t had any embarrassing losses like losing a playoff game after scoring a go-ahead TD with 13 seconds left, or shanking a game-tying FG wide right by like 20 yards.

So, the fact that one of their division rivals has been good discounts that most have been very poor? The Giants, Redskins???

And the Cowboys have won big games over the last years? The Bills have not?

Yikes.

The haters get on these  threads and say to themselves, "Hmmm... How can I twist this info around, these ideas, to further attack the Bills' leadership, undermine it?  And with no facts, reasoning at all needed?"

So obvious. it you want proof, just go look at their activity on their home pages. You will see the obvious pattern, humorously consistent , and for some, for years. I literally laughed out loud when I did so myself.  Soo consistent. (Or, just look some of the next threads as they develop. Watch their hate, ignorance, spew out...)

This very small group will almost always be there, ready to pounce.

Thankfully, it seems, and I hope I am right, less than 10% of the posters on this forum are stupid or hateful enough to actually believe this irrational hate, this ignorance and nonsense.

Over the last three years

One team is 36-15,  1 wild card win, 3 playoff appearances, with opponents divisional record of 73-78, 2 divisional titles

One team is 35-15,  3 wild card wins, 3 playoff appearances, with opponents divisional record of 69-84, 3 divisional titles
