This wasn't to me so much about the Colts as much as how Josh looked out there having to press the ball to certain receivers. Josh had no Cooper, Coleman or Kincaid for most of that game. He looked incredibly uncomfortable and shaky. This team DOES need a #1 WR. Preferably a burner minus all the diva. Besides Shakir, it just feels like he has no chemistry with anyone yet.... 1 Quote
Goin Breakdown Posted November 13 Posted November 13 I don't think it's all about the number one guy as much as it is about the top trusted guys. Even with cooper, we don't have a true number one. Josh didn't look comfortable at times because he probably wasn't with who he did or didn't have. Quote

It was Josh's shakiness from the Colts game where he was trying to press the ball to his only two receivers, that made me realize that Josh is better when he has multiple guys he trusts and can throw to (which he did NOT have in the Colts game). I think Josh needs a healthy Shakir, Coleman, and a burner to feel comfortable being the Josh we've seen most of the season. Cooper is that burner now, but I don't think we need him specifically as much as someone who stretches the field Quote
GoBillsForeverAndAlways Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I agree I think we're a better team when the ball is spread around more and everyone eats. I do have a feeling that Coleman will grow into being the closest thing to a #1 WR but having a lot of other options in Cooper, Shakir, Hollins, etc. will help us tremendously. Quote
