The tricky part is, the NFL IS entertainment. While the NFL wants to maintain the integrity of the sport, they have to balance the "watchability" of the product. If they called penalties on every play (because on judgement calls there probably could be a holding call on every play) it would be unbearable to sit through a game. The hard part is that, if you have players that routinely bend the rules, you just have to hope that if/when the refs get around to calling it, they don't do it on a "key" play. It's kind of playing with fire, but seems to have been working for the Chiefs and other teams over the years (Seattle's secondary during their SB years)

Yeah very true.on holding and such, I get it. That would stall the game.  I suppose it's the one dude repeat offender getting away with it thing that doesn't sit well with optics. Like sauce getting away with holding and DPIs on he way to become the rookie of the year and such. Now he's known as the leagues premier corner since the narrative is out and established. Such a frustrating topic because you want to believe that aside from human error, the refs are doing the best they can rather than saying "ohh well well This slide all game long for pretty much 2 seasons now maybe more. If KC and their fans don't want everyone joking about refs in their pockets, then clean this up.

Exactly. Now with the PSL's, the investment in season tickets is greater and the likelihood of season ticket holders selling to visiting fans is only gonna increase.

Bills used to sell extra tickets to fan groups but Bills started making deals to ticket agencies and travel agencies.  To get more tickets they stopped allowing individual season tickets outside of WNY area allowing grandfathered fans keep season tickets.   The Bills are depending upon these agencies to buy any PSLs not sold.

This is where the game is susceptible to corruption. A biased ref know he has to tip the scale on just one or two plays to radically change the outcome of a game. The NFL must know that. So what safeguards are they taking? Has anyone heard of, say, bans against refs betting on games, directly indirectly? If so, has any ref been sanctioned for betting? A few scalps would go a long way to restoring public confidence in the fairness of the game. Quite apart from the evidence of bias, it just stands to reason that at least some refs would be corrupt, especially now that gambling is legal and people have huge amounts invested in the outcome of games.

I dunno.

Many Bills fans are violent and somewhat mentally unstable Italian-Americans who consider each other "family".

If the shoe fits...

"Stupid Andy Reid"? How many years have you been coaching an NFL team? Andy's on 26. I don't think it's because he's stupid, and I don't believe any other coach in the league would agree with you. My guess is you'd love to have him.

wow now people's first posts here are attacking me.  Great.

and to answer the question there is no scenario where I would ever want andy reid coaching the team I root for.  I do not like him or any of his GB pals. Never Will.

This game is weird. It's important for seeding but really won't be a reflection of what might happen in the playoffs.

That being said the chiefs have won back to back championships and have won 15 in a row. They have only allowed more than 27 points once in their past 36 games if I'm not mistaken....

So if buffalo does win and wins big ( which I predict) the media will have a hard time dismissing the bills greatness, Allen's status and greatness, and Allen should be the clear MVP favorite.

Buffalo 38

KC 13.

Buffalo is the best team in the NFL imo and that will be proven Sunday
