Week 11 - Chiefs at Bills Game Week Thread

Tomorrow is the big day!! Happy to see that it looks like we're at least getting Amari Cooper back. Sad that we won't have Dalton Kincaid or Spencer Brown but I think we still have an excellent chance to win it. Gonna be a special game for us, I can feel it!! Go Bills!!!!

I'm very interested to see how we attack KC in the run game.  Spags will have blitz packages tailored to our personnel and formations. He's a Cover-0 guru.  I wonder what Joe Brady will cook up.

Getting Cooper reminds me so much of the time we got lofton. Should really open up things underneath for Shakir, Cook and Knox. If they double shakir and Cooper, Knox and Samuel will torch them.

Very true, it does feel similar to Lofton. And yes exactly, just having Cooper on the field will open up so many more options for our other guys to do some big stuff. Love your optimism with that score! Bills by a Billion always!!!!

Listening to NFL radio on the way up here they expressed concern over the Chiefs OL. They said that in the regular season the Chiefs OL always gives up sacks and doesn't step it up until the playoffs. Same with spagnola. They were all pretty high in the Bills. Gannon taking the Bills was nice. Really come a long way into liking him on the radio.

Been enjoying NFL Radio myself recently as well! And yes love hearing that they're feeling enthusiastic about our Bills! I feel the same way. Gonna be real interesting to see what all the other pundits have to say tomorrow on CBS and stuff

I'm going to start with an apology. I didn't come here just to troll Bill's fans. However the "stupid Andy Reid comment just got me going. Reid is the fourth winningest coach in NFL history. Hardley stupid. I recognise that you had Marv Levy and he was fantastic for you. I was a season ticket holder back in the days when he was in KC, but he was horrible with us. I'm looking forward to a good game tomorrow, but I'll be the first to stand up and admit I'm worried about the Bills. Yes, we have Mahomes, and there's no argument he's good, but he's also not looking like himself this year. Allen is also a damn good QB. No argument. The Bills are a damn good team and I never look forward to playing you guys, but I'll bet it's a good game no matter who wins. I just came on here to read the comments from you guys regarding the referee calls. I'm tired of hearing that the ref's are giving us the games. From our side of the calls we've seen a huge number of holding calls against Chris Jones. Some almost looked like rodeo calf roping events. The pass interference calls that don't get called from our perspective are ridiculous.  Ok, I'm getting too long winded. Good luck to you, but GO CHIEFS.

This is the beginning of the passing of the torch to buffalo 🦬. KC has been great champions and a dynasty like the Islanders in the Early 80s. But then the torch was passed to Edmonton. 

 

Buffalo will win in the playoffs in dramatic fashion similar to Montana to Clark but Allen to Kincaid. 

 

Mahomes will pass the torch to Allen this year and the next few

This is a big concern. The Bills OL has struggled vs cover 0 at times and Allen has had some shaky moments against those looks as well. No Brown is a problem. Brady has his work cut out for him- it’s advantage Spags in this matchup.

Just re-watched the playoff game from last year on NFL Network.
 

 Josh had an incredible game…almost perfect, really.  Four huge drops (two by Sherfield, one by Cook, and of course one by Diggs) just killed us.  Defense was bad, too.  KC did not punt and averaged 8 yards per snap.  Brady’s playcalling hurt.  Way too predictable and never took a shot downfield on second and short.  A great game to watch.

So many times teams have had shaky lines with injuries and our D line has come up small. Need to change.

We have excellent O-line depth.  It’s time for it to show up, after going a season and a half with basically no injuries.

Until we win the SB or beat KC in a game that matters, the narrative will be what it is. Sure, I’d love to beat KC and put a little pressure on them for the 1 seed, but in terms of KC vs Buf, this game doesn’t matter. A W willl give us the inside track at the 2 seed, maybe a long shot at the 1. Our offense is banged up, so is theirs. It’s always come down to the defense and McD’s D has failed to show up when it counts. I think it comes down to the D lines, and ours has been meh at best. Maybe Ed will decide to show up tomorrow. He’s the most underachieving D lineman in the 1st round of his class. As much as I’d like to win tomorrow, I just don’t see it as being as big game as is being hyped.  I couldn’t’ care less about the national media opinion. A W will be nice but doesn’t tell us much until we beat them in the playoffs.

Reid without Mahomes would be like Belichick without Brady. But, when everyone says that they forget both have had dynamic and strong defenses backing them up during every successful campaign.

 

Reid sucked with the eagles, got great coordinators, got Mahomes, Kelce, Hill, a good defense, and a league of refs.

 

Belichick got incredibly lucky with a solid defense that would have won the Superbowl with Bledsoe and then more lucky to have Brady become an amazing cheater. 

 

You're gonna bark up the wrong tree here by getting your knees and worshiping the flute of the chiefs. They're a great team, we know that but we don't care. We would just as soon talk about anything else than what the entire world is tired of: the chiefs.

 

We have had enough of Taylor Swift, the Mahomes family, Travis Pfizer-Swift, Kareem Hunt coming back on the team, one of the worst dads in history: Andy Reid, a team who has had more lucky calls with the whinnied QB since Brady....yeah,fug the chiefs.

I think we’re gonna see some different alignments and cool stuff from the offense tomorrow… Things they’ve been saving and working on just for this game… I really would like to see Cook and Davis in the backfeild at the sametime for a few plays just for something different try and throw them off a little trying guess who’s getting the ball

Like I said it's going to get ugly for KC, really really really ugly. We are the superior team with the best QB in the NFL.
