I've been impressed with Ryan Van Demark every time he's stepped in. He played in place of Spencer Brown against Indy for a few snaps and actually had a key block that helped spring Shakir's 30 yard screen pass. He can get us out of a game, and the Chiefs edge rushers don't scare me anyways.

I think Karloftis is a good player.

No way man, that team had the ambling corpse of Big Ben throwing wounded pigeons around. It was obvious it looked shaky. These teams are not the same. Pat Mahomes is not mid 30’s Big Ben.

If they late season collapse I think it’s more the variety the eagles had last year.

This is such a weird game. I've seen Chiefs fans online hoping to win, but noting that they think it's "good luck" for their SB chances when the Bills beat them in the regular.

Hate how that's become a thing. And I have to admit I feel some of that - maybe it's good to actually lose, to reverse the narrative that has so clearly been established.

But, I believe the best way to blow up that narrative is to win Sunday, win in January, and win it all in February.

We're going to win by double digits.

This year's version of the Chiefs is not the same. Yes, they're undefeated but they remind me of the Steelers team from a few years back that made it deep into the season undefeated even though nobody took them seriously.

Now, these are the Chiefs, so they have the history and Mahomes and Reid. But they are missing so many offensive weapons this year and Mahomes stats are mediocre at best.

Bills by 10+ this weekend.

It might not be popular to say, but this year the AFC is Baltimore's to lose with us to maybe spoil it for them. Chiefs are a team we'll beat twice: this weekend and once in the playoffs too, but it won't have the same meaning because Baltimore will be waiting in the AFC title game and a much, much harder team to beat in 2024.

You're comparing a team that feasted on a weak schedule to a b2b SB winner that's won 15 straight against the best teams in the league?

Lol

Incredible how people continue to doubt the Chiefs every year.

It's actually incredible how people can go to a message board of fans that see KC as their biggest nemesis and expect pure respect & admiration for their team.

If Kincaid is out would be real interesting to see 2 RBs out there - including 2 back sets, where either or both can go out and catch passes

I'm cool with Knox/Cooper/Shakir/Hollins

Except when they put Chris Jones over there

He's good but not scary. I'd take Rousseau over him but they're probably in the same tier.

Peerless Price wasn't bad. He was a shifty, finesse receiver who benefitted greatly from playing opposite Eric Moulds in the Bills offense.

He parlayed a 1200+ yard 9 TD season into a big free agent contract with Atlanta.

Maybe some here are butt hurt about that?

Right. He was a great #2 here.

I wasn't sure what @Simon was talking about when he said hiding behind teammates and such. I never heard anything bad about him, so I'm curious

Simon was probably referencing Price being honored as a Legend of the Game.

That's definitely a stretch.

Hahaha well I mean, him and moulds with bledsoe slinging it was fun to watch.  They can't change the name from legends of the game to guy who had a good run with us.

I have to say I was more excited about beating Miami twice than I am up for this game. Sure, I’d like to win, but it only means we have a better chance at the #2 seed. As has been said many times, until we beat them in the playoffs when it matters the regular season W is nice but kind of meh. I think it comes down to our D line, especially interior. If Oliver and Jones do their usually disappearing act, it won’t matter what Groot/Von/Ep do to their tackles because Mahomes is a master at evasion. He’s used to his tackles getting smoked so like Josh, he looks to roll out when it happens. If our D-line can get some interior pressure, I think we win.

My BBFS says that we will be up 23-21 with a minute to play when Mahomes gets the ball. After a BS defensive holding call on 4th-4 where Mahomes gets pressured quick, their new practice squad kicker nails a 55 yarder to win it. Billsy.

Actually I have no idea on this one. I just hope both teams have fun.

They shouldn't... but if they do the "guy who had a good run with us" should sit in a suite that looks like this...

The Chiefs are winning games with smoke and mirrors lately.

BTW I have no real animosity for KC. I like Mahomes and Reid, who I say is the true GOAT HC. If the Bills don't go all the way I don't mind seeing KC do it.

That said, the Chiefs have a ton of injuries on offense and have not been the same lately .They are going to lose convincingly one week and I think that's coming this Sunday.

Overall though I think this is finally Lamar's year unless we spoil it for them.

I think it's time to start a new tradition.  Lose to them in the regular season and beat them yearly in the playoffs.  This might translate to a few more SB appearances.

Holy mackerel. This is kind of major.

My only worry is that they are more tempted to go for it on 4th down keeping drives alive. With how efficient their offense is that is not a great thing for us

It puts more pressure on them though, they won’t have as many choices or as much confidence. That’s a good thing for us.
