The Red King Posted November 13 Posted November 13 How is it the Chiefs keep getting us when we're down key players. Our WR room is wrecked. Gonna need the D to step up some. Really hope Amari plays. We need someone to draw defenders off Shakir. Quote

This is starting to become a question of legacy for Mahomes and Reid - they have 3 Super Bowl victories and you have to think they get 2-3 more before they’re done. They get a chance at going undefeated with the 17 game season, it gets them closer to Belichick and Brady. 3-peat would be a much bigger accomplishment that even the great Belichick-Brady combo couldn’t cheat their way to. 2 Quote

EmotionallyUnstable Posted November 13 Posted November 13 I believe the bills should win this game, but my prediction is they won’t. There have been too many self-inflicted wounds that I think the Chiefs will exploit more than the Colts or Seahawks were able to do in the last few weeks. I really do think we have constructed a better roster overall, but their top end talent is superior, IMO. I also give the nod to Reid and the chiefs for having the edge in “knowing how to win” the close games. I am not just talking about a wild blocked FG to avoid a one point should be loss. Tack on the offensive injuries, already inconsistent passing offense, defensive lapses and reliance on turnovers, I see the Bills stumbling into the bye on this one. I stand by my prediction for this team, which has remained unchanged for the past three seasons; they will live and die by Josh Allen. There is no one else who can elevate the team the way he can and will need to if they want to contend on January. 1 Quote

Chiefs also missing a couple key guys including Pacheco and Hollywood Brown, were not unique on the injury end. And aside from our receiving room, we’re in fairly decent health. Completely agree we really need Cooper and/or Kincaid playing though, as I’m pretty sure McDuffie’s going to make life tough on Shakir and KC’s been really good against the run too. If Josh’s top alternatives are Mack, Samuel and Knox, might be real tough sledding for our offense on Sunday. 1 Quote
TFBillsfan Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Expecting a tough game but a deeper dive into KC and they’ve legitimately should have three losses. At some point, it has to catch up to them. Beat Baltimore by an inch. Literally! Beat ATL on a blatant PI in the EZ with the refs looking the other way with a no call. Beat Denver on a blocked FG that was a chip shot. Kudos to KC for finding a way but the Bills need to get it done this Sunday! Our offense needs to execute and our DL needs to MAKE an impact! 2 1 Quote

With the Chiefs sitting at 9-0 and the Bills at 8-2, the game will be a rarity in NFL history: This will mark just the fifth time over the past 54 years that two teams with eight wins or more have played each other in Week 11 or before. The good news for the Bills is that every other time it happened, the home team ended up winning. Here's a look at the four prior games: Week 11, 1977: Colts (9-1) at Broncos (9-1) -- Denver wins 27-13 Week 11, 1978: Steelers (9-1) at Rams (8-2) -- Los Angeles wins 10-7 Week 11, 2013: Chiefs (9-0) at Broncos (8-1) -- Denver wins 27-17 Week 11, 2018: Chiefs (9-1) at Rams (9-1) -- Los Angeles wins 54-51 As you can see, the Chiefs have already been involved in two of these games and they lost both of them. The game between the Rams and Chiefs in 2018 was one of the craziest ones in NFL history and it's had a reverberating impact: There have been six Super Bowls since that game was played and all six Super Bowls have featured the Rams or the Chiefs. As for the showdown on Sunday, the Chiefs are trying to become the 19th team in the Super Bowl era to start a season 10-0, but if they're going to do that, they're going to have to win as an underdog. As things currently stand, the Bills are favored by 2.5 points, which makes Kansas City just just the sixth undefeated team since 1970 to be underdog in Week 10 or later. The five previous teams went 1-4 straight-up. Although the Chiefs are an underdog, it's never smart to bet against Patrick Mahomes. The two-time MVP has been an underdog just 14 times in his career and he almost always wins: He's 11-3 straight-up and 12-1-1 against the spread. In those 14 games, Mahomes has averaged 281.9 passing yards while leading the Chiefs to an average of 32.2 points per game. If the Bills come out on top, it will mark the fourth time that Josh Allen has beaten Mahomes, which would be the most ever by an opposing QB. Allen has beaten Mahomes three times, which is currently tied with Joe Burrow and Tom Brady for the most wins against the Chiefs quarterback. Speaking of Brady, Mahomes-Allen is starting to turn into a rivalry that equals Brady vs. Peyton Manning. The game on Sunday will mark the eighth time that Mahomes and Allen have played each other over the past five seasons, which ties a record set by Brady and Manning for the most meetings in a five-year period by quarterbacks who aren't in the same division. If the Chiefs and Bills meet again in the playoffs, Mahomes and Allen would set the record. One reason this series has been so intriguing is because the games are almost always crazy and no one has been able to dominate. In the seven previous meetings between Allen and Mahomes, the Chiefs have gone 4-3 with all of Buffalo's wins coming in the regular season. It won't be surprising at all if we get another instant classic on Sunday, which is why you'll definitely want to be watching when the game kicks off on CBS. 2 Quote

Lose to Buffalo in a non-critical game and have the chip on their shoulder for the make-it-right game in the playoffs. Plus they are not going undefeated through the SB. 2 hours ago, DapperCam said: The allure of an undefeated season is too great. It would elevate him to GOAT status. Will either team treat this as a "win at all costs game?" No. Winning the Super Bowl is the goal and winning this game at all costs doesn't increase the chances of winning the Super Bowl. In fact winning this game at all costs could be detrimental to winning the Super Bowl if you waste a good game plan, good trick plays, or if players get injured selling out for a game which strategically means little. This game will be hard fought due to the pride of each organization. But both sides are sure to hold something in reserve for the more important games later on. Bills!Win! Posted November 13 Posted November 13 When will there officially be a betting line on Dawkins and Brown both getting a false start and a hold in the 1st quarter of this weeks game? They do it every single week in the first quarter. No wonder we are a second half team. 1 Quote
BuffaloBillies Posted November 13 Posted November 13 If Cooper is truly just a pain management issue, I have to admit I'll be pretty bitter if he doesn't at least give it go. I bet his teammates (and coaches) feel the same way. 1 2 Quote

The bet ought to be does KC OT get called for multiple false starts and not lining up on the line of scrimmage or does Brown and Dawkins get called for false starts while KC doesn’t! It’s ridiculous how KC gets away with it. The guy literally a yard off the line of scrimmage and starts early giving them a major advantage against the DE!!! McDermott and the staff need to continue to call it out to the refs and not just accept it!!! 1 Quote
ToGoGo Posted November 13 Posted November 13 We’ll beat them just like we do every year in the regular season. I’m ready for the yearly Josh Allen hurdle and the yearly Mahomes crybaby act. 1 1 Quote

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted November 13 Posted November 13 I actually feel really good about this game. I don’t think the chiefs are that good. I know what the record is but I kind of feel like this is the worse chiefs team there has been. I actually think we might win by more then 1 score Quote
Billznut Posted November 13 Posted November 13 If Kincaid and Cooper play Sunday, I think this offense can score enough to win. If those two can’t, along with Coleman already out, that’s three big offensive weapons that Allen won’t have at his disposal. That makes the mountain higher to climb. 1 Quote

njbuff Posted November 13 Posted November 13 A lot of people are saying the Bills should lose this game to turn the script come January. And there are folks saying (foolishly) to rest some starters so the Bills can be healthy when/if they play the Chiefs in January. It’s all hogwash. There is ABSOLUTELY no guarantee the Bills will be healthy in January whatsoever, so why throw games away for no reason. The Bills should go all out to win this game and keep the pressure on the Chiefs to win as many games as possible to keep the number one seed. Plus, the Bills have the off week after this game and they can go absolute balls to the wall to get those one and rest up. The objective should be to keep the ball rolling. That’s it. 5 1 1 Quote
