Ethan in Cleveland Posted November 10 Posted November 10 I've never watched a game with so few replays. Almost no penatly was shown except maybe the hold on Torrence. For those that watched other games was there also a lack of replays? I would not put it past Goodell to tell the networks to cut it out after the way Al Michaels blasted them on Thursday. 1 12 1 Quote
RiotAct Posted November 10 Posted November 10 this seemed like it was CBS’s H-crew as far as the lack of replays and terrible spotters. At least a half dozen times, Catalon was WAY off on the down-and-distance. 3 1 Quote

fasteddie Posted November 10 Posted November 10 I noticed that too. The Bills are always getting screwed by the refs, so Goodell told CBS to pass on the replays. They don't want everyone seeing how bad the refs are. Quote
BananaB Posted November 10 Posted November 10 (edited) Find this year if there is questionable calls they try to avoid the replay, or hardly show it. Edited November 10 by BananaB 1 3 Quote

It was pretty much the only penalty called for a DB all day too. Quote
Shaw66 Posted November 11 Posted November 11 No replay of the call against Douglas in the end zone. Penalties are part of the game, so they aren't showing the whole game. 1 1 Quote
Simon Posted November 11 Posted November 11 This has been going on for several years and has really diminished the product. Instead of showing replays we are constantly getting closeups of coaches and QBs doing nothing. It is utterly pointless and does nothing to add to the manufactured drama they are trying to create. They are literally showing less football to people who tuned in to watch football. 5 5 2 1 Quote
co_springs_billsfan Posted November 11 Posted November 11 You mean you didn't appreciate the countless shots of the Colts' coach pacing the sideline and Flacco sitting on the bench with an empty look in his eyes? 2 4 1 1 Quote
MJS Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Yes, it is very annoying. Having quality replays is the primary benefit to watching the game on TV. 2 Quote

Just another means for the league to manipulate games any way they want. Disgusting.... 3 Quote

Since those who know (or think they know) football are likely biggest consumer of extra material you would think they would try to continue providing it so they continue buying it. Quote
frostbitmic Posted November 11 Posted November 11 They did show the replay of the guy punching Josh in the head a few times. I have the feeling his wallet will be much lighter this week. 3 Quote

Charles Romes Posted November 11 Posted November 11 I thought the refs did a decent job of staying out of the way for the most part Quote
