Bills!Win! Posted November 10 Posted November 10 We would’ve been 8-2 if it weren’t for a lucky Throw by Kyler Murray in 2020 Quote

As much as I question certain things (and often McD), I'd feel even worse about the future of the team if Pegula was like "People werent buying PSLs so I fired McD!" He won't be fired because people weren't buying PSL's, he would be fired because the PSL owners opinion would be correct. You can't waste the talent of a generational QB like Josh Allen because your coach is not capable of beating good teams with good coaches. I actually have faith in McDermott and think he will win a Super Bowl for the Bills. I worry a little about the Lions, but I think the Bills are going to the Super Bowl this year. Quote

The PSL owners will push him out if they don't have any faith in him getting the team to the Super Bowl. This is the year they have all the leverage over the owner. No chance. 4 Quote

McDermott has this job as long as he wants. I love what he has been able to do with the safeties. Rapp is legitimately good. Hamlin is actually serviceable which is crazy to be saying given his limitations. The hit piece that was written last year and then being dropped when the author for sure probably thought the Bills would not only lose the division but likely miss the playoffs all together, only to have the Bills rally as a team and win the division, that also stands out as a case to keep McDermott. And we have to remember the grass in not always greener on the other side. Bills have built a real culture here. 1 3 Quote

Shortchaz Posted November 10 Posted November 10 I would feel better about this team’s superbowl aspirations if they could consistently get to the quarterback with 4 d-linemen. For this 4-2 scheme to be effective in the playoffs, the d-line has to be miles better. The off-season needs to be focused on getting elite d-line talent to go with our existing role players. 2 Quote

Bill51390 Posted November 10 Posted November 10 The next four games are gonna be extremely tough. Hopefully we can get healthy and stay healthy. I think we go 2-2 over those four games. 1 Quote

The only difference is they get to end their posts with "... but I'm sure Reid and Mahomes will figure it out". That’s the ‘equity’ he was talking about. They’ve proven they can get it done despite looking bad during the regular season. Bills don’t have that in the back so some fans are justifiably skeptical. 1 Quote

The Chiefs, Niners, and Lions are going to make the Bills run defense work. Is the McDermott defensive scheme capable of beating physical teams? I don't know. Quote

Unbeaten but talk about getting timely bounces/blocks to win truly ugly week after week…also, Bills leading the league in points scored over this winning streak if I heard the radio call correctly? Not sure about that stat. Detroit has won 6 straight with an average of 36 ppg, we haven't hit 36 in any of these wins. Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Bills opponents that they beat are 22-41 with I believe only the Cardinals with a winning record. Next four games will tell us if the Bills are contenders or pretenders. Nice road win today! Took advantage of the turnovers. Hope Dalton is ok. 2 2 Quote

Terry isn’t even thinking about McD. The job is his regardless of playoff performance. I really wish that wasn’t the case but it is. And like Gunner, I just don’t see this team going very far. You need 3 wins in a row against the caliber of KC - Baltimore - Detroit. Hell, does anybody even want to see a team like Pittsburgh right now? 1 Quote

Definitely worried the Lions are going to "Raven" the Bills. These physical teams are just a terrible matchup for the small Bills defense. The Ravens secondary makes them beatable though, but the Lions appear to have no flaws right now. 1 Quote

VW82 Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Pretty cool but if we're being honest it's been a bit smoke and mirrors. AFCE wasn't supposed to be this bad, and we're way out in the lead for league turnover differential. There's lots of promise with this team though, just need to clean up some things and have our youth take another step. Hard to believe we'd be in this spot back in March. 2 4 Quote

I won't be shocked if they don't win their division and get bounced in the opening round. Can the Bills beat Detroit in a Super Bowl? They will need some turnovers and some luck. Not likely, but not impossible. Quote
