Keep stacking wins, get healthy and stay healthy!

Realistically, most would be ecstatic being 8-2 with a stranglehold on the AFCE. Playoffs have become the minimum expectations with the franchise which for us that lived thru the drought years feels amazing.

I’m trying my best to ENJOY the ride and hope we get to the playoffs with momentum and health!

There’s no one the Bills can’t beat if they play to their potential!

As of week 10, NE is in 2nd place in the division and Miami and the Jets are a hot mess with major cap issues forthcoming.

The “Ralph” will be shaking next Sunday. I hope the Bills boat race KC, but expecting a dog fight between two heavyweights!

Find a way!

LETS GO BUFFALO!

Really wanted this one today bc worst case scenario after the KC game is we're 8-3 - which is still REALLY f'n good!

We should beat up KC, worse 10 0 team I've ever seen.  They won't continue to get these lucky wins. Should be 6-4,7-3

Yep. It's a nice position to be in. I'm still not seeing a true Superbowl contending team here tbh. I think if we win a playoff game this year that is our reasonable ceiling. Of course Josh could play out of his mind in the playoffs and we get a bounce or two and who knows? But I don't think that is realistic tbh.

ahh...I'm not sure how one defines "true Superbowl contending team".

To me, it would be one of the top 6 or so teams with a reasonable--define as at least 25% that of the top team--chance.

So, KC is +400, Lions are +450, Ravens +600, Bills +800.

And, of course, its obvious that any Super Bowl winner needs a few bounces along the way.  Unless you're talking about a truly dominant team, like the 18-0 2007 Patriots.

That comment is a bit sarcastic, as the dominant 2007 Patriots actually lost the game where they didnt get all the bounces.

Point being, there is no team in todays NFL that is truly dominant.  A team that you'd take against the field.  Chief are +400.

To me, Bills would fit the definition of legit contender.

But how good COULD it be with two big WR’s who make you cover the boundary?

They were both out with (strangely) wrist injuries today. Like DB’s in recent years, cluster injuries can kill you. You can have depth everywhere, but you can’t go 3-4 deep at every position.

We are about .500 in one score games over multiple contending years. 0-2 vs playoff teams this year. Multiple years running in which we universally were considered a contender and we got bounced from the Divisional. Dramatically underachieving against our DVOA and EPA in the regular season specifically on defense. All of which is very well documented.

We currently lead the NFL with a +13 turnover margin which historically is not a stat that is sustainable and if anything usually regresses back to the average. You can call them a legit contender but if you had a trial on what legit contender has shown the highest likelihood of running off 3-4 straight tight games against other legit contenders is it possible to rate us anything but last in that conversation?

Flacco had 4-5 seconds on most plays.  We’ll need a lot of bounces in the form of takeaways to advance in the playoffs against the better teams.  I agree with others that there are no dominate teams, so maybe we get the bounces.

Who does, though? The Ravens have at times, but they have some stinkers as well. The Lions are the new flavor of the week, but the Texans are disrupting them tonight (who themselves have looked both good and bad this season). The Chiefs are winning by a whisker with favorable bounces and calls every single week. They are lucky.

I think the Bills look like one of the top teams in the NFL this year, looking at the entire landscape. They are a legitimate superbowl contender in my eyes. They've been hobbled with injuries and are still finding ways to beat teams by double digits. They've won close games. They've clawed back into games. They've done it with offense some weeks, defense others. The pass and run games have both been formidable. The Ravens game is an outlier, I think.

Guys, dont overthink it.

Lets look at the opinions of experts.  Such as oddsmakers, various NFL powerranksings, etc.

https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-power-rankings-week-10-2024-nfl-season

Bills are consistently in the top 5.  They are contenders.

Can this change in a week?  Damn straight.  Key players can get injured.  Its the NFL.

But right now?  Yeah, of course Bills are one of the top contenders.  This isnt a difficult concept.

Agreed. For me it comes down to the D line.

Very underwhelming so far and I have a bad feeling it's going to bite them in the playoffs.

I’d feel a lot better about this game if we weren’t gonna be down Cooper, Coleman, and now probably Kincaid…

I’m negative Nancy Reagan after this one. Win’s a win and you take them, but this offense isn’t any good.

When two of your top receivers aren't playing, the offense will look different.

We tend to beat them in regular season and it's at home

They are 9-0.

As they roll up 415 yards and 30 points for the 4th straight time playing their C- game with their top 2 WRs downs and then losing Kincaid after halftime.

You remember that Steelers team a few years ago?

Having seen every SB while knowing how the teams got there, the occasions where the winner played great all season are few and far between. In some cases -such as with us- a team currently plays in a Conference where overall the talent is less than the top 5-7 teams in the other Conference. Sometimes it just happens this way.. Currently, Detroit looks very good, but no one else in the NFC is blowing out anybody. 🤷‍♂️
