The nice thing is this hot start we have this year gives us some great leverage. Even if we go 2-2(worst case scenario IMO) during this stretch we will still be in good shape 1 Quote
JohnNord Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Remember how so many in this group were like “wow the Bills really face a murderer’s row of opponents this season?” It’s the toughest schedule in the NFL 🤣🤣🤣🤣 1 1 Quote

Yeah they are just good because it’s 6 easy wins against the Dolphins, Jets, and Bills. Perhaps it’s now reversed that it’s the Bills that are good and the other 3 teams bad. But you know what I could care less. It’s a solid product the Bills fanbase has now. 3 1 Quote
BillsFan619 Posted November 11 Posted November 11 ...we went to the SUPER BOWL! We've had better teams in the JA era, but what a tough, gritty team we have. Going into Indy down the players we were, and then to have such a convincing win, great stuff. First 8-2 start in the JA era. Bring on the Chiefs. It's going to be madness in Highmark. Mafia, show up and show out. Go Bills! Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted November 11 Posted November 11 And if they lose next week they are out of the running for the one seed earlier than any of the last 4 years. 1 Quote

Interesting to be sure. Not good. Hate giving Chiefs the feeling of being disrespected. They are very good at that. Honestly prefer Bills being underdog. My guess is the Bills will be favored by even more than 1 at kickoff. Maybe 2.5-3 Quote
Utah John Posted November 11 Posted November 11 2 hours ago, scuba guy said: Well we played poorly on a very good d and got the win. I would put it that the Bills played inconsistently against the Colts. Josh had probably his worst game since the Texans game, with the miss to a wide open Kincaid and a bad interception. But he was still the best player on the field in the fourth quarter when the Bills put a stranglehold on the game with a long drive. The defense was just enough better than they had to be, especially in the second half. The absence of Coleman and Cooper really affected things. Samuel appeared briefly and then evaporated. Hollins is a lot better than we thought earlier. 2 1 Quote

PonyBoy Posted November 11 Posted November 11 39 minutes ago, SoTier said: Hopefully, KC will use up its quota of good bounces soon. There is no difficult decision for Pegula to make. He's not firing McDermott, and few if any season ticket holders are going to demand that he do that. Many season ticket holders have decades of attending Bills games when winning seasons were few and far between and the Bills even getting to the playoffs seemed pipe dreams. For long time fans who remember Hank Bullough, Dick Jauron and Rex Ryan, McDermott is untouchable, especially this season when the consensus was that the Bills were going to "take a step back" because of so many roster losses. The Lions are owned by the Ford family (of the Ford automobile fortune). The Lions' problems were never related to how the Fords' wealth stacked up to many of the new billionaire owners. In 2020, Sheila Ford Hamp took control of the team from her mother, Martha Firestone Ford, and brought in the new administration and philosophy. She apparently got it right the first time out. I like the Lions, always have. Especially Thanksgiving games when they weren't always good, they pulled some big upsets from time to time. Bills 1st, but Lions, Vikings are next on my list to win it all. 2 Quote
Utah John Posted November 11 Posted November 11 After 10 games each year: 1994 5-5 1993 8-2 1992 8-2 1991 9-1 1990 9-1 I wonder what the seasons where they were 8-2 or better had in common? 1 Quote
Gugny Posted November 11 Posted November 11 3 hours ago, GunnerBill said: Yep. It's a nice position to be in. I'm still not seeing a true Superbowl contending team here tbh. I think if we win a playoff game this year that is our reasonable ceiling. Of course Josh could play out of his mind in the playoffs and we get a bounce or two and who knows? But I don't think that is realistic tbh. You’re really going out on a limb, here. You don’t think the Bills can win the Super Bowl. But they might win the Super Bowl if Josh plays really well. But they will probably only win one playoff game … UNLESS Josh plays really well. But the Bills probably won’t win the Super Bowl …. Unless they do. And if they don’t … you will remind us how you said they wouldn’t. But if they DO … you will remind us that you said they would if Josh played really well and they got a few lucky bounces. Like every .. Super Bowl .. winner … ever. 2 4 Quote

Toyo321 Posted November 11 Posted November 11 This team has to prove its metal over their next 4 games. Enough said. I will not pass any judgement on them until this 4 game gauntlet is over. This is not the best team TBH that we can assemble for a SB run. Next year is the year that I was banking on. But we will see what happens in the next 5 weeks. 1 Quote

I know it helped that they had a good QB & HOF HC while the rest of the division had junk. But they still consistently beat Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Indy, and great teams in the SB. Quote
Success Posted November 11 Posted November 11 I truly appreciate that we're having a great season - at a time when most nationally, and some locally, thought we'd be taking a step back as we retool. We could win it all this year. Not saying we will, but we'll be as competitive as anyone. 1 Quote
